As u can see, since Balinese is Hindus, most of their dances have bit of Indian dance element like Bharatanatyam. Like eyes movement, face expression n their own style of Mudras. But Balinese Hindus is a bit different from Indian Hindu because it's already adapt with Southeast Asian culture n architecture

In Indonesia every traditional dances have their own character.. We can easily know where the dance from by seeing the part of body movement...
Ballines is identict with the big round eyes and strong hands
Sundanees, the movement more fast and soft han... We called it jaipongan dance... A little bit like your traditional dances in india
Javanees, most of the dances are in slow motion and soft hands..

It's Pendet Dance, one of sacred n religious dance from Bali.At ancient time those glaring eyes was identical with spirits (means when the dancer could animating her dance, then the spirits will merge with her dance by her body. That's the spirits's eyes glaring.
But nowadays at the progress,i think it's pure dance.
    That was good job Aman!
I thank you very much for this video,God bless you,,,

@Seo Jang Geum but the name of Indonesia is because of India...its India+Asia.. we love the people of Indonesia.. because thousands of years ago...we were one civilization...but after Islam attacks on Indonesia...you people forget ur culture

@@vinaygaursonu7869 your comment is so provocative...... culture is always changing time by time...... Indian culture is just one of cultures which influence Indonesian culture in some part of the archipelago....... by saying Islam "attacks" Indonesia, its kind of provocative....... at that time when Hindu came to Indonesia, we became very Hindust..... what do you think how Indonesian cultures look like before Hindu came to "attack" at that time?
      .
Im not telling about which one is better, but culture is always changing because its not static, its not about forgetting something to something else...... its about taking what are around us during a different time period....... thats human and their cultures...... we wrote a letter on a paper because there was no mobilephone for sending an SMS at that.... now we send messages via Whatsapp, Messanger, Telegram… because they are all here now around us......
