@80s and 90s Movie Geek Ok, just to make sure I hadn't misremembered it I have just Googled it. The Robot in question can be seen and is referred to as 'Robot number 4, the worlds most depressing robot' it is on a Facebook post, so I won't touch it, it is a proper old-school ball-jointed cuboid robot, perhaps it only appeared in one episode, which I can guarantee is the one I watched, and then perhaps assumed that he was a regular cast member? That said, I would love to know what became of both Robots... Certainly the XL-5 robot is the famous one, I have truly been obsessed with robots ever since... Androids? No.. not even interested! 😂🤖🇬🇧
This wasn,t 1982 this must have been around 1987 because of albert square Eastenders wasn,t around in 1982 I love watching when i was a kid fireball XL5, thunderbirds, stringway,UFO, didn,t like joe 90 i was into lost in space

It was actually probably 1992 because they mentioned “Captain Scarlet might be shown on the BBC next year” - it was shown on BBC2 in 1993
I've got a captain scarlet .
