When get older and have a better paying job, I’d love to get a treehouse built in the mountains like this one. I can imagine living there with my plants and having an herb garden somewhere in the house... perfect for me.

I am so confused as to why some people are giving Pete hate in the comments. He's a happy person that has a passion for building treehouses that shows so clearly in every clip/episode. What's not to like about that?! I see people talking about how he ruins the show and makes it corny and others talking about how they JUST CANNOT watch an entire episode because of Pete. I'm going to pass on some wise advice that my Dad taught me when I was very young that I think would be very beneficial to those people. "If you don't like it, don't look." :)

If so perfected, why not just built on the attic in the main house, or extend to the top of the roof? But people's ideas and desires vary, and so be it.To Pete Nelson: notion of the show and attitude of the host is turning increasingly too "upper-coming", sprinkled with too many petty-jokes, hard to belief but pretentious self-ridicule, and an almost too painful to watch ever increasing level of fake project-enthusiasm on steroids, displayed for the camera as a selling point of the show.
I am against the idea of having a fancy bridge for any tee houses. Shouldn't it be more fun and natural for taking few extra steps to go all the way to the tree and extend the adventure climbing up with a stairs to your hideaway!! I think so.

I don't understand why these "clients" are deciding to have a treehouse built and complete with no time to spare?? Or is this just part of the drama factor and trying to make this into more of a reality show?? Also was annoyed at her reaction to the problems they were having with the bridge, even after they had gotten everything else right...man, why don't they cut these guys a little slack every now and then?? And I think Pete is way too patient with a lot of these people.
How much do you charge for them? I'm wanting a 7' x 7' child's play house (raised high off the ground, accessible by a ladder with a tall slide going down..) a bridge that leads out from the 1st 7 x 7 to a 2nd one that's near a very old and very dear oak tree. The tree currently is huge. 3 men couldn't hug it. Under the high bridge that connects the two buildings I want some swings for kids and a porch swing for adults. With a bit of help I could do it myself.. If I can find someone else to do it without killing the bank, better.
This guy builds tiny houses on stilts with a tree going through it, not treehouses. A real treehouse doesn't have legs. I wish people would get it right. Clause gets it. The only smart comment I see.

I've watched a few of your videos, and I loved it. I can't imagine building a house in the trees, let alone walking my furniture and everything else to move in one, but they sure are beautiful...
Love it. Hated the idea till seeing it. Great for all ages plus handicapped people/guests. Or anyone with arthritis... which can come from food allergies, injuries, amputees, wheelchairs.. which can occur at younger ages with childhood handicaps caused by over injecting infants, very common today causing problems by the time the child is 3-4 yrs old. Also a concern with returning vets with multiple injuries. Soo the awesome thing is easy access for all with some sleeping spaces which don't involve climbing stairs. Love the access for luggage on wheels, makes life so much easier. Smart thinking on this one. Suitable for all family members regardless of age. A great little house.
