Image Processing in C# Basic Program

I am trying to recognise part of an image and convert only the part that depicts a number into an actual integer. I could use open CV and/or Tesseract but I want to make it simple. I had no problem doing this using the windows API and pure vb6 in good old 32 bit windows XP, cannibalising code modified from a desktop magnifier. But disassembling c# desktop magnifiers is challenging. The desktop magnifiers set the region of interest (ROI) using the mouse which creates a rectangle to select the area. But my program simply needs to scan a region of interest that is pre-set in the program and does not require manual selection. The slow pace and precise demonstration of how to create a numeric matrix from an image in pure c# is excellent! It will be relatively easy to modify for a very simple robotic vision system.

Sthitapragyan Behera Yes it will work on any Visual Studio version you have (2008/2010/express/2012/2013/2015/2017 etc) but not on Visual Studio Code.
