Honestly. I’m from an army family. When I see stolen valor, I see a mental illness. As in someone who is just sad to watch as they aren’t being treated. It takes a certain mental illness to pretend to be someone you aren’t yet convince yourself you aren’t role playing, but are actually that person. Just really sad that people who do this don’t have enough pride in who they are.
Shave head, put on army camos, hunker down in a doorway of a busy city and real the money. Its a classic begging trick, you got 1 leg, that's even better, ride the chair in your camo with military insignia all over it and the public think your some injured veteran. Thats what many do, they don't need to say anything, the public just assume and help them out with their drug and alcohol money at the same time as encouraging more to join this ex- military false homeless army. Most ex- military down on their luck wouldn't want anyone knowing, its a pride thing, it'd be seen as letting down the side
I am a Vietnam vet and was just a plain ole grunt, I was just in country long enough to get a gunshot wound, I don't wear a Veteran hat and really most combat vets I meet want to forget what we went thru. Hey man, coming from a civilian this can't mean a lot but thanks for your service in Vietnam. As a History buff, I love reading about things like that and it pains me to see that back then people hated you all for serving.

I signed up at 17. I don't remember anything about needing to 18 by the time you graduate AIT, but I do remember that I needed written permission from both parents, and they follow that rule very closely. My mother was deceased, so I needed written permission from my father, and a handwritten note from him stating that he was my only living parent, and a copy of my mother's death certificate.
Same thing! Each of my parents had a command sign. The crazy thing is kids that were signing up when they knew they were going to get deployed especially in the early 2000s! They still did it! But now especially with American military their saluting the Rainbow flag & worried about pronouns! If it was like that when I'm in enlisted I wouldn't have done it. And I was a NJROTC nerd lol

Interesting fact :sergeant major general was a real rank. America's military ranks are derived from the British rank structure. Most modern military ranks that are used by the united states and commonwealth countries were introduced in the 1640s when Oliver Cromwell introduced the rank structure to the new model army one of the ranks was sergeant major general however over time the firm of address dropped the sergeant part and now we have the rank of major general which explains why a major general is out ranked by a lieutenant general.
The young Major’s legit. I was his CO at the grand old age of 19. I did two tours of Nam, Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria & now an Admiral training Smurfs in advanced Tank warfare. Honest, I wouldn’t lie.
You can actually have gold teeth if they're permanents. When I was in 11th Sig BDE we had a soldier with 2 permanent gold fronts. I also met a CW2 in Iraq that had some gold fronts.

Infantryman here, so the way the CIB awards work are you can only earn the award once per campaign. So as chaos said, if you served in Vietnam, and Korea, and received contact from the enemy within both wars, you’d have a 2nd award CIB. It’s just a CIB with a star in it. They go up to 3 stars. Rarely (if ever) seen though. Plus you can’t earn an EIB through campaigns. It’s a testing event. Expert infantryman badge. Great vid though chaos.
Former infantryman myself. I don't have either, but I knew a lot of guys who had both but preferred to wear the EIB over the CIB because of what it took to get one.
when i was on active duty in the marines as a sergeant i called everyone by their rank. i called corporals by their rank. it was the respectful thing to do. i called lance corporals by their rank. e2's and e1's i just called them by their name.
To be actual "stolen valor" under U.S. law, the faker has to personally benefit from his or her faking. Financial benefits are obviously the main factor, but a faker can receive free or discounted services and be in trouble.

I've said this plenty of times, If these nutcases aren't defrauding the VA Comp system or trying to start go fund me's for themselves then why in the heck would you bother? Just because they put on a getup of Dress Green pants, a BDU top and a Kevlar with a spike coming out the top and stare at themselves in the mirror for 3 hours a day, wishing they were a real soldier doesn't mean that they need to be chewed out and live streamed by somebody who actually seems to want to brag about their own service, pulling out their VA ID and flashing it on livestream. Cringe!
My favorite was the one fat solider looking for discounts and said he was with the “cobblestone Corp” and had a Minecraft t shirt under his blouse. Not sure if it’s real though. 😂
When you're talking about the first guy who's wearing the 3 bogus CIB's, Vietnam and Desert Storm are actually in the same eligibility period. So someone who served in Vietnam and stayed in long enough to deploy for Desert Storm would still only be able to wear a single CIB. That period ran all the way from 1961 to 1995. Someone who went to Desert Storm and stayed in and was deployed during the GWOT would be eligible for two as the current period began September 18, 2001.
Most medical professionals or MDs 👨🏻⚕️ get commissioned O-3, Captain. Some start as 1Lts like RNs. When I served in the US Army, 1990s; the medical career field switched warrant officers to O-3s, O-4s because of their time in service, skills. A CW3 or CW4 with 16yr & 2 degrees is not going to stay in as 2LT.
Legally you could wear the uniforms all you wanted to there's never been a law barring that. They have always sold the latest uniforms at military surplus stores. What is and always been illegal is saying that you are in the military and benefiting from it. The BUDS make awesome durable work gear.
Saluting.... Had a childhood friend who became and doctor, and he signed up the USAF and they helped pay for med school and training to become a surgeon. So Day One of his Air Force career he was a Major and was reporting to a hospital, I think it was at Shaw AFB SC. So he climbs out of his car carrying a briefcase in his right hand and is saluted by an airman but he saluted with is left and knocked off is cover, lost control of briefcase. I think when he told me this that he had not yet attended any sort of orientation, but he practiced in a mirror but only with his right hand.

The 2005 Stolen Valor law was ruled unconstitutional by the US Supreme Court because it said no one was allowed to wear military uniforms in public unless they were military. This Violated the 1st Amendment. So congress passed another Stolen Valor law in 2012 making it ok for anyone to wear the uniform in public, so long as you weren't trying to benefit from it.

Spent Christmas in my kevlar, vest, and PTs cause the Iraqis thought it would be funny to hit us with the biggest rocket attack of the season. (Also the day I was awarded my CIB). Got back to Ft Campbell on valentine's day. (My unit had been in country for almost a year when I deployed. They didn't want a bunch of cherries without combat patches sitting around when the unit got home.)

Wearing a military uniform has never been illegal, and there's never been any law against "impersonating a soldier." Trying to gain access to a military post illegally is a crime whether you're wearing a fake uniform or not. The reason impersonating a police officer is a crime comes down to the way the police interact with the public vs the way the military interacts with the public. Or more to the point the police do have actual authority over civilians, whereas a five star General has zero authority over any civilian. This is why you can buy ACU's or even an ASU at thousands of Army surplus stores. But the sale of police uniforms is highly controlled and it is illegal for civilians to possess any police badge that is actively in use. The Bush era stolen valor law made it illegal to lie about having received certain awards, like a Purple Heart or Bronze Star. The Supreme Court, however, ruled in a case of an Arizona city councilman that had been lying about receiving the Medal of Honor that the state had no compelling interest in keeping people from lying to each other. This voided the Bush era stolen valor law, and brought about the Obama era stolen valor law. Which currently exists and makes it illegal to use false claims of military service to improperly receive tangible benefits. The tangible benefit aspect is key here: the state has a compelling interest in preventing fraud. But they don't have one in keeping people from lying to one another.
I couldn’t get in the Army because I would never pass medical. it was my life long dream to get in BUT I would NEVER be a Stolen Valor. I’m happy with serving in retail. I’ll gladly serve our REAL veterans.
The thing about these people is this and I recommend it I've run into some of these people impersonating members of the military. Many many in my mind have very serious mental health issues. Do not try to confront them or do anything of that nature because your dealing with somebody who's gotten mental problem.
The first man is someone I'm pretty sure I've served with. Pretty sure he was at The Battle of Legoland, Battle of Sizzled Burger and spent a bit of time fighting at Waterloo. Totally legit.
I know the video is two years old, but gonna give my two cents nonetheless. You are right about "reclass" Soldiers being able to skip ahead in OSUT. I was in one of the last troops to go through OSUT in Fort Knox for 19D training and in the second half of OSUT (the AIT portion) we did have some people reclassifying into our MOS. They had their own room in the barracks and had more privileges than we did.
Hey Christopher, can you make a video "how to tell your parents you want to join the military" or "how to convince them". I am pretty sure that they wont let me do that, and joining the army is my biggest dream.
Ran into a guy claiming to be a vet. I asked him what unit he was in. He saluted me and said “101st airborne rangers fort hood” he was immediately a target of my sling shot and marble. I keep em in my car just for stolen valor. I’m a gold star family member my brother was in the 82nd 2-325
If you ever do a part two, make sure you add this one video where this guy was wearing the ACU and he had three ribbons on his name plate(NATO, Overseas, and Army service ribbon) he had the American flag on the center of his chest (where his rank is supposed to be) saying “with the American flag on the left side it doesn’t tell the enemy that America you know were coming, America is on its way” lmao 😂
21:18 These are so hard to watch. I'm glad people are getting them for faking it. Real military men and women lost their lives serving their countries. The big question is why.
68C is the enlisted nursing MOS, known as Practical Nursing Specialist and the officer nursing MOS is 66B, known as a Registered Nurse (RN). A 68C is an enlisted MOS only and a 66B is an Officer MOS only
And the cost of the fake Sergeant Major's uniform, medals and all accessories must have cost him 4 to 500 dollars. That really makes it a whole new crazy.
First guy didn't watch any Christopher Chaos videos. He would have known as driver is an 88M The second guy is funny as hell though. "Major Dollars" LOLZ
You can enlist in the Army at 17 years old, so long as you're currently in highschool, and your parents sign the contract with you. They then go to Basic training the summer of their junior year, then they go back and finish up their senior year of highschool. After that they then go to OSUT or AIT depending on their MOS and job. There's a lot more regulations as well, like needing good grades and at least an average GPA.
God imagine getting your uniform ripped apart like its an actual uniform inspection your nco's would conduct. Then field day the next week becomes field week.
We had a friend who we would always introduce as a military man at parties. I remember young soldiers asking him "What was your MOS ?" tying to catch him in a lie. He would reply "Soap boy, Sir" Soap boy? They would ask, "Yes Sir" snapping to attention. "What were your duties? My duty was to bend over and pick up dropped soap bars whenever we took showers. Ha-ha-ha. Jack was a clown. Stolen Valor?
You had me at pen regulations. Not sure about the regs when the 17 yr old Major was made, but at least as of 2021 any color and any size pen is acceptable. Got chewed out for having a blue pen and immediately E4 Shitbagged 670-1
I wanted to join the army/military because my grandfather and uncle were in the navy lol but as I got older I really didn’t have the interest for it but joining always been on my mind
I was a 92g in the army. I was 82nd airborne and no matter what I would never pretend to be something I’m not. I don’t get pretending to be a seal or a ranger….im proud of my service I did a lot of good things and made a lot of good friends. These people are disgraceful.
That woman is out of her mind. She comes in claiming she's a "colonel" and she's composing herself as a civilian, not as a professional. The stupidity level was off the charts.

Oh and the last video was filmed at the subway in northport, al. I used to work at the car wash right in front of it.

Not until after my ETS did I remember my first name was not my rank.
To be actual "stolen valor" under U.S. law, the faker has to personally benefit from his or her faking. Financial benefits are obviously the main factor, but a faker can receive free or discounted services and be in trouble.
Pretty sure the first guy was recently arrested for faking being a cop.
What's the video
@@rumrain838 I was wrong, it wasn’t recently it was previous conviction. The guy was arrested prior to this for impersonating a cop who had died in the line of duty. The fake ranger is Sean Yetman
@@connortaylor8609 yeah Yetman is a real piece of garbage
Keep up the amazing work sir! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you for your service sir, my cousin was in the Marines and lost his leg and his best friend who tried to save him so seeing people do that makes me sick and he once went off on one of those people
OK, so I'm a combat vet 1st Armored Division, 7th Corps Europe, I'll leave it at that.
I recall that one. It was staged.
Pulls off shirt
Cameraman: WHAT THE FUCK
That intro lol. I've been looking foward to this.
Sergeant Major General of the Army! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You can join as O-3 but.... you’d have to be a professional officer such as a military doctor.
I have met someone who has done that.
You mean o3 not o4.
@@Number6_ just corrected it 🥴✅
Your rings are most definitely out of regs, SGM Gen. 😂 Also, the reg for the PT uniform is FM 7-22.
GOD bless you sir, thank you for your service and for this video.
Legally you could wear the uniforms all you wanted to there's never been a law barring that. They have always sold the latest uniforms at military surplus stores. What is and always been illegal is saying that you are in the military and benefiting from it. The BUDS make awesome durable work gear.
Actually a lot of people don't know this, but when you go to salute a sergeant major general you have to salute with both hands...
Major at 21? Most Majors take 10+ years. This cat is a major liar
Commissioned thru the VJROTC program.
VERY JUNIOR ROTC.
Unless this is the civil war or something
thnx for serving bro! the army rocks! i distant relative of mine was a doughboy in world war 1, he hid in a hay pile on a farm and when he got out of it all the animals around him got killed by mustard gas, the hay pile was a filter
That lady wild asf 💀💀
My SGTMaj at Fort Riley walked around with a ruler and checked everything.
Thanks for helping me recognize some of this stuff.
As a puke civilian.
I will always try to sequester this BS.
I have to digress at this point because I'm getting super pissed
that’s so sad tbh. this first guy is so sad and wants the valor and respect, but not enough to lose weight and train
You can join the National Guard during your junior year of high school at 17 years old with full parental or legal guardian consent. It's called the split training option or split ops
I was a general private US Army
"A General's private side- piece"
"Jesus Christ on a motorbike."-Maximbady
The 2005 Stolen Valor law was ruled unconstitutional by the US Supreme Court because it said no one was allowed to wear military uniforms in public unless they were military. This Violated the 1st Amendment. So congress passed another Stolen Valor law in 2012 making it ok for anyone to wear the uniform in public, so long as you weren't trying to benefit from it.
The first guy texting while walking gave it away immediately.
The guy referenced at 1:35 is Greg Wong - an airsofter who attempted to join a NG group responding to riots in California in his own full Multicam kit and a non CA compliant AR15. The NG soldiers immediately recognized him, and he was arrested afterwards
And when your on a profile for anything especially in uniform you gotta have the profile physically on you
I was 17 when I joined had to have one parents signature. That put me in the DEP (delayed entry program) all through my senior year. Had to do pt with my recruiter every weekend. Graduated high school on jun 1st 2003 was at Ft. Benning by jun 20th. Graduated OSUT in September. Was at Ft. Campbell Oct 10 turned 17 Oct 23, was deployed to Iraq in November.
My dad was a marine and he said it is absolutely impossible for a 21 year old to be a major
There is a 28th infantry division but it is a guard formation made up of mostly Pennsylvanians
Yup... the Bloody Bucket patch. The 28th has a proud history in war 2... it's also the division that Slovik deserted from... the only execution of a US Army soldier in war 2. That was not one of the division's finest moments.
@@williamstellmann I was just deployed with a group of them this year. Great group of people for sure.
“Got me on that one” 😂 smh the first guy……………… im not in the military nor ever would join (tbh its not for me) but i could see through that mans lies when he started talking. He didnt even try to keep his facts right 😂 🤦🏻♂️
"Don't mean to brag, but I was in Fort Bragg." Says 37F.
Then starbursts in the sand.
Yes Sir! Sergeant Major General 😂😂
So... New procedure for this is ... Parade rest and a salute😂
18:10 speaking only for my experience in JROTC, I did use my jacket pockets for a few things mostly just a few extra damage and our presidential physical fitness award, which was just a patch glued to some ribbon bars. I would put it in my pocket when it fell off/apart. But my army instructors would have had my behind if I would have creased those outward
Can you imagine if lying about our exploits in uniform was illegal? All vets would be in prison.
You have no idea the pride you feel when you receive your uniform with your last name stitched to it 😙
I guess I see why they do it
You can’t be going to Home Depot as a stolen valor that’s like walking into a bears den 😂 there’s mad veterans amongst the ranks at Home Depot 😂😂💀
I couldn’t get in the Army because I would never pass medical. it was my life long dream to get in BUT I would NEVER be a Stolen Valor. I’m happy with serving in retail. I’ll gladly serve our REAL veterans.
If there's a will, there's a waiver 🇺🇲
The thing about these people is this and I recommend it I've run into some of these people impersonating members of the military. Many many in my mind have very serious mental health issues. Do not try to confront them or do anything of that nature because your dealing with somebody who's gotten mental problem.
Saw a commercial the other day, if a guy who’s selling cannabis oil. Captain said he was a master chief sergeant of the Marines.
The first man is someone I'm pretty sure I've served with. Pretty sure he was at The Battle of Legoland, Battle of Sizzled Burger and spent a bit of time fighting at Waterloo. Totally legit.
Pretty sure the funeral Sarge was gonna fill his pockets with snacks & sausage rolls from the Wake.
I am pretty sure that they wont let me do that, and joining the army is my biggest dream.
if you're 18. you can legally do whatever you want. Do your dreams.
@@tedw101 you have a good point, but the problem is that i am not from the USA 😅 I will need a green card
I actually have that video planned for December. So it will be coming.
@@christopherchaos Thanks man, appreciate that 🙏🙏
Good for you! Go for it man.

These are so hard to watch. I'm glad people are getting them for faking it.
Real military men and women lost their lives serving their countries.
The big question is why.
What an intro! Took me on a trip
Thank You For Your Service
68C is the enlisted nursing MOS, known as Practical Nursing Specialist and the officer nursing MOS is 66B, known as a Registered Nurse (RN). A 68C is an enlisted MOS only and a 66B is an Officer MOS only
88 Mike were drivers when I went through basic & ait, don't really know what this guy is trying to pull..
And the cost of the fake Sergeant Major's uniform, medals and all accessories must have cost him 4 to 500 dollars. That really makes it a whole new crazy.
28th Infantry is the National Guard unit in PA
First guy didn't watch any Christopher Chaos videos. He would have known as driver is an 88M
The second guy is funny as hell though.
Sergeant Major General? 😂🤣😂 Good one
A broke colonel now that's a good one
Sounds like he was repeating the Scout Law 😂
I was a 92g in the army. I was 82nd airborne and no matter what I would never pretend to be something I’m not. I don’t get pretending to be a seal or a ranger….im proud of my service I did a lot of good things and made a lot of good friends. These people are disgraceful.
I have seen and came across some of the ppl that have worn the military uniform but I didn’t say anything to them i just ignore them.
