I recently scored 25 rolls of uncirculated 1959-1980 rolls out of a safe that were stored since the 60s. I'm finding some amazing stuff. I have 50 already set aside for grading. Some amazing varieties in them. Just finished going through them. They are unreal. Were in a airtight safe for over 40 years. Never seen anything like it

I worked as a cashier for about 3yrs and I started trading out other change in register for ALL the 1964 and before Pennie’s and Nickels bc I was attracted to them, and every silver coin I could find too. I didn’t know anything about coin errors, until last year. I’m learning and I definitely want to find out their worth.

Hi, I am fairly new to this as I only started coin hunting and collecting as of April 2020 at the heightening of the pandemic. In my hunting down rare, proof, un circulated, error coins, star note and rare bills. I've come across a few what think are gems. An all silver 1964 D mint dime, a 69S penny in good condition, a think a un circulated 1987D nickel in its best condition. A 1999 error 25cent Georgia peach quarter, with the words "America", "In God We Trust" and the word "Liberty" all missing on the obverse side of this coin. A few more error coins like a 1947 wheat cent that appears under scope to have a double die on the reverse side. Also some star note bills as well in my searching.

I need to get a scale, I've found/have a lot of the same year pennies including the 1963's that to the eye are obviously made of different metals. Found all of them in my spare change. I've also found a few of the newer quarters 2020 and 2021 they have a lot of doubling on the name of the state and the e pluribus unum parts. My favorite one is a 2020 Vermont quarter with a W mint mark, the word Vermont is majorly doubled and the words marsh billings Rockefeller are also doubled but not as bad as Vermont is

I recently found a box containing about 4000 penny's that my wife's grandfather had saved. He had passed and she never gave these penny's a seco d thought thinking they were just penny's. Most are 83,83 84 but there are still lots of wheats as far back as 1917, Indian heads 1878 looks better then you would expect, alot of 20,s,30,s,40, etc all the way up to 88. Many of these coins look like they never hit serculation but do have some scratches here and there from not being protected.many of these have ddo and ddrs
Really appreciate the penny video! I know I’ve seen a couple of these laying around. I’m gonna go digging. I kept all the pennies I collected from buying boxes that were before 1982. I’m excited to get the magnifying glass out again. I have a box of pennies from the bank that are from 2020. They look brand new straight from the mint. Quite a few of the rolls have pennies that look really smudgy. Maybe the worn out part of the machine(Di or die?) that stamps the blanchet with the design.

At first i thought the "change shortage" was a lie, but then i discovered it definitely is real, and exciting.....past year and a half ive been coming across better and better grade coins from regular change. Ok I just found a 1963 penny this morning going through my regular every day change... it stuck out like a sore thumb because I was just simply checking the dates first...I look at it figuring its a pretty recent date because of the excellent condition it's in... it's a 1963 no mint mark penny it remarkable excitement condition...it almost looks like someone got into a proof set and spent it and I happen to of found it... I want to send it in for grading but I'm not sure how to do that and I know it's not Cheap to do...so do I contact PCGS and inquire ?....

I found a quarter that looks like it's heavily damaged, and planchettes all through it and I have no idea what it's worth, and I'm sure some of it is damaged, I'm a rookie at coin collecting, so I've been watching your program a lot, and a couple of others. I'll see if I can send send a pic of it to you, maybe you can figure this older quarter that definitely had it fair time in people's pockets, and how it ever got through is a mystery

Lol I do this too,I haven't found any quarters or dimes older than 65 but I found a 36 buffalo nickel and a penny from 1907.
