    I wish that they still made these cars.

      I agree with you 100 thousand million percent. Two of my most favorite cars of all cars. Crown Vic/MGM. The Ford Panther platform. I wish that production of these would have never ceased.

      @@301Pont They are reliable as the flames of hell. If Every ford was that reliable they would own toyota by now.

      @@alb12345672 Everyone's got an opinion and I respect yours. However, I've had very good luck with the "panther" cars. If they are taken care of right they can really last. My '96 MGM is a quarter of a century old and still runs/drives really good with 143K and 27-29mpg hwy. My '01 Crown Victoria has 263k still runs and drives very well -they just gotta be taken care of. What I really like about these "panthers" is "rear wheel drive" and "full perimeter frame" most people these days only want this in an SUV or pickup, but I want these things in a car -a regular sedan and that's why I like these. I just like a particular build/format of car.

      @@301Pont "Reliable as the flames of hell" I meant they always run no matter what. Think about it! I have a 98 MGM pushing 200K and the only problem is the drivers seat has a hole. I also installed a heated seat but it was bad when I got it. Yes, little nickel and dime repairs but the car is as high quality (for that mileage) as can physically be. The other day I almost started it running because it is so quiet and smooth.
      I get that mileage on a straight highway. Other fords are another story though. 3v engines come to mind. Explorer Transmissions.... But I also have a high mileage 96 v6 explorer that never had a problem.

      @@alb12345672 Sorry man, I misinterpreted. My bad. I appreciate your comment and response. Yeah, come to think of it I'll bet those flames are reliable. Good one right there. You're right, they are smooth and quiet cars.

    You can tell which ones (frames) were destined for CVPI and Civilian models, by the muffler resonator delete on some and the 'fuel tank protection' on some of the rear differential, not to mention the aluminum driveshaft.

    In the 'Motor Trade ' from 1968 - 2000. Didn't know how reliable and safe and inexpensive these later Panthers were. Currently in a 06 Town and wouldn't trade it for anything under $40K.

    Ford cars _ Crown Victoria _ Mercury Grand Marquis _ Lincoln Town Car _ are among the most powerful cars and the largest sales in the Arabian Gulf and the Middle East. More than a million and a half Ford cars have been sold in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦, Kuwait 🇰🇼 and Bahrain 🇧🇭
    It was the pride of American and Canadian car manufactures 🇺🇸🇨🇦 and has been very popular so far

    Now if ford was smart they would come out with a retro version build it the same as before but with a few upgrades same engine also just for one year. They wouldn’t be able to make them fast enough. I think the real reason they stop making them is they were to good.

    • @garymanley507
      @garymanley507  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They stopped making them because of the new requirement for 2012 cars had to pass a rollover test that would require the roof to not collapse, Crown Vic to heavy. What would you like to be driving in an accident a Vic or Mini. The 3 months of 2012s all went to the Middle East even the last one which everyone got to sign their name in a hidden spot, it should have gone to the Ford Museum.

    • @MattMorris481

      @@garymanley507 they could have fixed it to comply with the rollover requirements they just weren’t making enough money on them anymore.
