- How to disassembly and reassembly bolt on Remington Model 783 308 Win. and other models (.223 etc.)
The Remington® 783™ is a highly functional, accurate, and reliable bolt-action rifle. Both the trigger guard and front and rear sling swivel studs are molded into the stock. The barreled receiver attaches to the stock with a dual-pillar bedding platform that free-floats the barrel for optimum accuracy. A SuperCell recoil pad comes standard on the 783. The bolt has dual, opposing locking lugs, with a 90-degree lift, and a sliding plate-style extractor. The 783 Bolt-Action Rifle comes with a 2-position thumb safety, and the Remington CrossFire™ trigger system, featuring a center lever that locks the trigger until it is fully depressed. The trigger comes factory set at 3-1/2 lbs., and is user adjustable. The rifle loads and unloads quickly with a detachable steel magazine that fits flush with the stock.

..the only thing missing. that i was hoping to see , was the ejector. I'm trying to find a replacement...and so far ive seen 3 different kits for it, not sure which one to get

Does the 783 have the plastic sleeve for the bolt like the 770?
On the 783, where is the date stamp? It doesnt seem to have one like other Remington rifles. Remington, in their current state, cant help me.
What size are the screws ?
