I JUST realized you can here a faint version of the Ultra Necrozma theme during the Dusk/Dawn Necrozma battle music. Incredible little detail there. Pokemon DOES NOT miss with their OSTs.
I love how the palkia and dialga themes feel like you're facing an epic god from outer space while all the giratina themes sound like you're facing an eldritch horror of chaos, especially the legends arceus one
Every other Legendary Pokémon's Battle Theme - Intense, Dramatic, Everything could be on the line Solgaleo and Lunala's Battle Theme - Just a little silly who refuses to get in the bag
I love that both Reshiram and Zekrom's themes played (and yes, they have slightly different themes. Reshiram's has fire in the background sound effects while Zekrom's has electricity in the background sound effects). Most people forget they have different themes.
There are pretty much all a masterpiece and you have Terapagos, Just a masterpiece sended by God, scarlet and violet are for sure not the best Pokemon game, but they have one of the best boss fight theme and oh gosh the theme is just so good
Favorites are Dialga/Palkia (any iteration), and Groudon/Kyogre/Rayquaza. Also, I know the Lake Trio doesn’t really count as legendary but that theme is a banger.
Top 5 1. Giratina: terrifying in all variations. Makes the fight intense 2. Ultra Necrozma: a contender, the organs and insane techno part makes this theme a banger. RIP nuzzlockers 3. Rayquaza: The intensity makes you know that this a monster capable of manipulating the weather. The horn in the beginning gives me goosebumps to this day 4. Tao trio: their theme literally symbolizes truth and ideals. Beautiful overall 5. Ho-oh: you’re literally fighting a mythical beasts capable of resurrecting and bringing happiness. The Japanese theme is perfect of the battle Worst 3 1. The dogs: honestly, they would be true contenders for #1 but that howling being THE core part of the theme ruins the entire theme 2. Life/death/balance trio: the theme kinda feels generic. Feels like it’s missing something 3. Mewtwo: it’s literally just a remix wild Pokémon battle theme

Technically, they use the galar Wild pokemon theme like latios/latias use the heonn theme, but in my playlist, i use mustards battle theme bc thats the only way to fight it
@@Fl0shy Yeah, I know. I've seen the Indigo Disk trailer that shows the old Legendaries from pervious titles which they can be battles some didn't return.
such a shame a lotta special battles didn't have their own theme in the first generations, not only legendaries having the regular wild theme, but in gen 1 gym leaders didn't have their separate theme from regular trainers, and in gen 2 gym leaders did get their team, but elite four didn't so the elite 4 had the gym leader theme
Still a shame that in the gen 8 dlc they just inserted 1 theme for all legends in the dens instead of giving them their own ones back. Really removes a lot from the atmosphere. Idk how it is with gen 9; I have the dlc but havent played it yet.

I don't like the original Dialga's/Palkia's theme, but Legends Arceus makes them feel like a glorious and menacing sight.
