It was always silly because she’d make funny faces, but we had never heard of anyone else having that symptom. We also assumed it was something to do with the baby pushing up on a nerve. It was so great to hear that someone else had that. To whoever’s reading this: have a wonderful day, you are loved!

Facial tingling and tingling in your shoulders indicates compression or irritation to the cervical nerves. Glad you talked with your medical team! Need to just keep them in the loop of this kind of neuro symptom.
I was thinking the same thing. I bet the chiropractor helped so it's good she had an appt. So many people have neck and shoulder issues from cellphones 😥 and I'm betting the way a bump changes the way people walk and the extra weight carrying babies doesn't help. 😕 Pregnancy sounds fun...😅😒
Colleen is always like, "oh my gosh! These vlogs are so boring. This is the most boring vlog I've ever posted." But I'm sitting here watching it, thoroughly entertained! So Colleen, just know that even though you might be thinking it is boring, we aren't bored! I love watching your videos! Keep it up!
I get the tingle-in-the-face thing all the time. I'm not pregnant though, I get them because I have chronic migraines. I know that these kind of migraine symptoms are often brought on by hormonal changes, so I would guess there might be some connection and that hormonal changes are causing your face tingles too
These videos are like hanging out with a beloved friend. Even when you're not doing a whole lot, it still feels so good to be together. It's been a really hard, lonely year and a half. These vlogs have made it so, so much better. Thank you for letting us into your life. ❤️
I'm glad you talked to your doctor about the numbness/pins & needles symptoms, because I was about to do some research to help! And just to remind you, your videos are never boring for me! As long as YOU are there and a lil bit of Flynn, I'm the happiest camper ever!
I wasn't pregnant, however I was dealing with an ovarian cyst, I was dealing with large parts of my body being "asleep" for long periods of time. I was low in Iron and vitamin D.
I've had the same thing. I have PCOS so it happens a lot and I have anxiety which usually makes them worse. The human body can be such a pain in the butt sometimes.
I experienced the pins and needles and numbness in my arms, hands, and fingers. It lasted from 18 weeks until after 30 weeks. It felt like I had fallen asleep on my arm for hours and lost the blood supply to that arm. As I became further along, the worse it got. My midwife had me go to a prenatal chiropractor once a week and do prenatal yoga stretches daily. Doing both helped immensely, not only with the tingles, but with my pelvic floor pain too! The tingles in your neck and face are likely from the hormone relaxin, but can also be from tension in your neck muscles and possibly from grinding your teeth when you sleep. If you're able to you should go see a prenatal chiropractor. I highly recommend it. Also look into prenatal yoga stretches that help with tingles in your neck and face. Prenatal yoga also helps your body prepare for labor and delivery and the stretches are super easy and you feel very relaxed after.
I'm sooo excited to watch Colleen become a mom of 3!!! I'm a long way from having kids myself but watching the vlogs literally just makes me want to have kids more
Hey Colleen, this sounds like migraine, changes in hormones can cause migraine with aura, one of the symptoms can be numbness/tingling sensations. I get this with my monthly hormonal migraines and there doesn't always have to be a headache along with it. An alternative could be low blood pressure but I think it's more likely to be hormone changes causing migraine symptoms, get lots of rest and stay hydrated! I hope you're feeling better soon. Look after yourself 😊
i didn’t think this video was boring or uninteresting at all!! i love hearing about your day, seeing you hang out with flynn, listening to you ramble. it’s like hanging out with a friend. recently moved across the country, far away from all my friends & family and spending a little time with you each day gives me comfort & stability. obviously do what’s best for you but know that we would miss you if you were gone!
I am not pregnant but I get that exact tingling feeling when I experience my chronic migraines and take my migraine medication. It feels like a fatigue and pins and needles at the same time. It’s especially bad when I eat and run my HANDS and/or body under warm or hot water. I’ve never had anyone relate until I heard you talk about it in this video. Of course it’s not exactly the same since I’m not pregnant and you’re not taking my medication, but it’s the same sensations. Interesting. I wonder what it means. It feels the worst in my neck, chin, and hands. What you said at the end makes me want to talk about it with my chiropractor today…
I can not wait for the twins to arrive Flynn is going to be the best big brother ever !! The twins are going to be blessed to be welcomed into your family.
That tingling happened to me with my 4th and 5th pregnancies! It has something to do with the extra bloodflow. Talk to your OB about it, and they can explain. Another issue I had with the extra bloodflow was ear aches on my right side. It was so odd, because I never have earaches unless I am pregnant.
You’re an amazing mum with incredible family and strength to live your dreams. You are an inspiration and you deserve LOVE. I hope Corey shows you this, he is a beautiful human too. Lots of love to all xxx
I’m not pregnant but I do have chronic pain and my nerves are pitched almost constantly. When I’m stressed my muscles go into balls and pinch my nerves more and I get the tingling that you are talking about. They often go away for a couple of hours, but when I was stressed during finals last semester, they stayed pinched for about 3 weeks and the tingling/numbness lasted that long. Definitely try and stay as relaxed as possible and watch your posture! Work compresses also help. You’re doing great mama!
Colleen, I saw you got a beta fish! I don’t want to be one of those like “vets” but if you want it to live longer I recommend getting a heated and filtered 3-5 gallon tank! Thanks!
Yes! I keep my bettas in 5 gallon tanks and they love it! And I’m sure Eric would actually really enjoy aquascaping as well! Definitely makes a much more preferable habitat when live plants and driftwood are added!
I was heartbroken when I saw that little beta back there! I am certain that Colleen has the best intentions, but there is a lot of false information out there about caring for betas. They absolutely will not thrive in those tiny enclosures like many people believe. I keep mine in a ten gallon, and feel that's the minimum they should have. And yes, they are really sensitive to things like temperature and pH balance of the water. Their care requirements are definitely more complex than what is advertised. I hope Colleen and Erik will see comments like this and give the little guy what he needs! I agree that Erik would probably enjoy aquascaping! 😄
@@layniemartin1458 10 gallons sounds so amazing! I really appreciate you providing them with such a great habitat! Once I move into my new apartment I’ll be upgrading! I have a spare 29 gallon + a canister filter I might scape for one betta (and a clean up crew)!
This is completely off topic, but I noticed you have a betta fish in a bowl in Flynn's playroom. Bettas require a bare minimum of a 2.5 gallon aquarium, a heater and filter. 5 gallons being much more ideal and easier to keep balanced and to maintain in the long run (there's more water volume to dilute the waste produced by the betta giving you a bit more buffer room). Bettas come from ponds, marshes, and slow moving streams like many other freshwater fish (not puddles with a cup of water like many people claim) and the temperature of the water is usually 78-80F. Most houses aren't that warm so a heater is usually required. Having a slow moving filter (they don't tolerate fast moving water very well) will help keep floating debris to a minimum. Also, plastic plants can easily tear a betta's fins so silk and live plants are highly recommended. And you can't sustain a nitrogen cycle in a bowl which is detrimental to the health of the fish and aquarium. There are so many good videos here on TH-cam (creators like Aquarium Co-op and Girl Talks Fish are great to watch!) and articles online that explain the nitrogen cycle in much better detail than I can lol. Basically ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate can quickly build up in your aquarium. All three compounds are toxic to fish and the only way to prevent them from building up is by cycling your tank (it can take 4-6 weeks), doing water changes every week (which can be more or less often depending on different factors), and testing your water often (I use the api master test kit- I have 8 aquariums and its lasted over 2 years so definitely worth the money). Unfortunately these are all things a half gallon bowl can't sufficiently provide. Even though bettas can survive in a bowl, they can't truly thrive in one. I know this is a LOT of information at once, but please take it into consideration. I hope this doesn't come off the wrong way. I'm not hating at all! Just want to educate on proper betta care since so many bettas end up in cups and bowls because pet store employees and owners are simply uninformed. If you have any more questions, I'd love to help!
The way you all teach Flynn is absolutely top notch!!! Flynn and his cousins on the Ballinger Channel are all taught in such a specific lovely way at home. All personalities in a nurturing way. 🙌💜🥰🥰🦋🦋
my mom said she had that tingly feeling when she was pregnant with me. she said it's not really something to be worried about, it's just really uncomfortable. :\ she said it could be cause you're lacking something or over with something... only she didn't specify which.
Thank you for showing the reality of pregnancy because it teaches me a lot of things pregnant people endure. And also wanted to tell you that you are heard, love and appreciated by all your fans. You're an amazing soul and you lift up my spirits every time. Lots of love for you and your family. Thanks for everything and love you ❤️
Her talking about pregnancy is this lens of real, makes me look forward to pregnancy. I think for a long time, hearing all the lovey dovey stories of pregnancy, made me wonder where the catch was lol.
I love how colleen is like 68°f is her ideal house temp, where she is freezing and wrapped in blankets. That equates to 20°c which in the north of England where I live is basically summer 😂😂😂
I’m so glad you are talking about the tingling!! I’m 33 weeks 3days but both of my hands do it. But not my whole hand, half of it. It is so frustrating, and annoying. It takes forever for it to go away
I can’t believe I’ve been watching Colleen since I was in high school, we were pregnant at the same time the first time around and now we are pregnant at the same time this pregnancy!
Dude same except I was watching her since middle school and I'm now 23 and have a job and already graduated however when I first saw her I thought she was actually Miranda and I thought Miranda was like an actual person I'm just like how could someone like that be real and then I found out a couple years later it's just an act
I’m 23 and recently moved back in with my parents. Well they’re on vacation. I was crying missing my mom(yes I know I’m a big baby😂) when this video notification came on and immediately became calm once I started watching🥰
as a 22 y/o who just moved back in with her parents and cried when her mom was on vacation las week this made me feel so much better cuz i always feel like im such a baby and so lame for doing that but im glad im not alone nothing wrong with loving ur family xx
I'm also 23 and when my mom had to go on a trip to see her family a month ago, I was crying and missing her too, it was tough for me! I'm so glad I'm not alone, and I've learned that's nothing to be ashamed of. Your feelings are completely validated!
Omg!! I had the tingly symptom from my fingers up to my shoulder and collar bones! I know exactly what tingles your feeling 🥲 the dr could never tell me exactly what it was besides the baby is probably pushing on some nerves and the weight I was gaining rapidly was affecting it as well 🥺 you got this mama 💕
Colleen, I remember you in a past video talking about how you had a really congested nose and it was hard to breathe, and I remembered a home remedy that my mom did for me. You boil a pot of water and add tea tree oil or peppermint oil to it and breathe in the fumes. Helped a lot for me!
I love how Colleen is talking about how hot it is where she is while I am inside my house and it is hailing outside. I live in Australia which means it it the middle of winter where I am
Never been pregnant, but I get tingles like that when my blood pressure gets high, I have high blood pressure to start with, but if it gets really bad I'll start getting the tingles and then dizzy.
Oh goodness I wish our brains had a built in diagnostic tool because it looks like even though it's nothing per her doctor other people's experiences are so different it could've been anything! Idk if it's just me but my brain starts obsessing trying to solve the puzzle when some kind of symptom pops up.
Colleen, I noticed you have a fish tank. I would recommend doing some research on fish care so that your fish can thrive. A 5 gallon tank with a filter and heater are the bare minimum if you have a betta fish to make sure they are happy. I hope this helps :)
Oh my gosh, Colleen! I have tingling in my hands & arms, but not when I was pregnant. How scary. Glad you are talking with your doc to get it figured out.
I relate to the house temp so much! OMG! Colleen I feel your pain!! And being pregnant in the summer is really hard, especially if you like your house cool!

I’m currently 33 weeks with my 2nd and sometimes I’ll get the tingles in my arms or legs. I haven’t gotten it in my face. But I think it is bc one of the babies is sitting on a nerve. But do mention it to your dr.
Yes! I remember when she first announced her pregnancy, l was so excited to hear about her cravings and her symptoms and just all that she’s going through and now it’s happening! ❤️
Thank you so much for making me laugh and smile. I have recently lost one of my best friend, well was my best friend, he treated a young girl very poorly and unfair. I told him I didn't like what he did and had to tell him our friendship is over... now I'm heart broken and in tears bc I feel so bad for that little girl and that I lost my best friend that I had shared everything with. Thank you so much, Colleen. God bless you. ❤🙏
I usually watch a TH-camr for maybe like a couple of months and then kind of stop watching them (that's probably just me) but I can proudly say I have been watching Colleen and her family for 4 years. ily
This is my first pregnancy and I haven't had any tingling. A week before my 21st birthday (almost 27 now) I developed Bell's Palsy on the left side of my face. The nerves had swelling around them which caused paralysis. That would be the closest experience to the tingling in the face that I had.
@@sarahdrummond5334 No. It freaked me out so much that we went to the ER and they prescribed me steroids to reverse the swelling. I do still have extreme sensitivity in the winters on the left side of my face but I don't look like I had stroke anymore. The thing that really sucked was the timing around my birthday. I had to wait a month to properly celebrate.
Hi Colleen I’m 32 weeks pregnant & I get the same tingly feeling in my face! It happened with my son too. It’s the weirdest feeling & I can’t stand it lol. I looked it up & it said it’s nothing to worry about just all the hormones in your body. But definitely an uncomfortable feeling for sure! I love your channel & look forward to every upload ❤️
Facial tingling numbnsess can be a sign of bells palsy during pregnancy, I honestly would mention it to your obgyn , while not live threatening it can lead to paralysis of certain muscles in your face . It also could be a sign of a blood pressure either too high or too low. Please get it checked out . Love you Colleen.
Yep. While not life threatening def a pain in the butt. 2.5 years after having my daughter and my face is still a little crooked and tingles. They told me the nerves we’re permanently damaged
The face thing. Ask your doctor about Bell’s palsy. My friend had it when she was pregnant. Half of her face didn’t move for a couple months then after the baby it immediately fixed itself.
Colleen! I've been having such a good and productive day so far and your vlog definitely just made it better! I'm in a great mood, anyone else wanna share their day so far?

Absolutely no need to panic! This happens to me frequently when I get migraines or have anxiety or panic attacks. It has also occurred when I've taken some medications. I've had it all of my face, neck, shoulders, and partially down one arm before. It's not incredibly comfortable, but it always goes away and my doctors have also assured me that it's nothing to worry about! Good luck!
I totally have! My face feels super weird and tingling sometimes! I am 15 weeks and had it happen a handful of times. It was not as bad as how you are describing it though 😬

Yup, my niece had this and in her hands and feet. They said due to swelling in those areas.

@@nicole.h.c yes me too!!
Keep it up!
Thanks😉
Colleen: “but you know if you’ve ever been to my house”
All of us who have never been to her house: “oh yeah we know you like it cold”
Hahah true!
I get the tingle-in-the-face thing all the time. I'm not pregnant though, I get them because I have chronic migraines. I know that these kind of migraine symptoms are often brought on by hormonal changes, so I would guess there might be some connection and that hormonal changes are causing your face tingles too
I get face and head numbness from migraines, tingles in the back of my head and upper back. It’s lovely.
im loving these little updates about Colleen's pregnancy symptoms, the bump, etc.!
These videos are like hanging out with a beloved friend. Even when you're not doing a whole lot, it still feels so good to be together. It's been a really hard, lonely year and a half. These vlogs have made it so, so much better. Thank you for letting us into your life. ❤️
Exactly!
Please do another psychic reading for the twins like you did with Flynn! That'd be so cool to see!
I'm glad you talked to your doctor about the numbness/pins & needles symptoms, because I was about to do some research to help! And just to remind you, your videos are never boring for me! As long as YOU are there and a lil bit of Flynn, I'm the happiest camper ever!
I love how at the end Colleen goes "Don't worry about it..." And the the outro says "You can relax..." It goes so perfectly!!!!
I love pregnant Colleen eating brownie pudding out of Flynn's bowl and just being a total mom. It's human perfection

Also 19 weeks pregnant, it's definitely been more than 2 days 😳
@@heartsongsKat I am also 19 weeks pregnant and DEFINITELY relate to this and am glad to know it’s not only me 😂😂
I wasn't pregnant, however I was dealing with an ovarian cyst, I was dealing with large parts of my body being "asleep" for long periods of time.
Anyone else notice that Flinn doesn’t pay with cash, he pays with a credit card for his ice cream
He’s probably only seen his parents pay with credit card! I wonder if his toys are credit card now too haha
He has a card with great rewards I bet - cash back on all truck purchases

Why are you such a sweet human? The world needs more people like you.
I wish my mom was like her
The tingling is hormonal. Its a hormone that relaxes muscles and tendons causes tingles. . With twins you have double the hormones?
This this this! I hope she sees it.

Thanks!
Beta fish need a heated tank? What temperature would you recommend keeping the water?
@@LyannaDelore I would recommend about 76-82 degrees. You can buy heaters at most pet stores! :)
If you have any more questions, I'd love to help!
lmaooo i knew one of you would come and blah blah blah that nobody cares about

my mom said she had that tingly feeling when she was pregnant with me. she said it's not really something to be worried about, it's just really uncomfortable. :\ she said it could be cause you're lacking something or over with something... only she didn't specify which.

I love how colleen is like 68°f is her ideal house temp, where she is freezing and wrapped in blankets. That equates to 20°c which in the north of England where I live is basically summer 😂😂😂
Well 68 degrees inside feels different than outside. 68 is pretty chilly for house temperature
i thought like 68° was like 12°c
@@emmaconnolly4681 not here in Europe. It's rare to go above 20°c as house temperature (68 f), it's considered wasteful.

Omg!! I had the tingly symptom from my fingers up to my shoulder and collar bones! Colleen, I remember you in a past video talking about how you had a really congested nose and it was hard to breathe, and I remembered a home remedy that my mom did for me. You boil a pot of water and add tea tree oil or peppermint oil to it and breathe in the fumes. Helped a lot for me!

Colleen, I noticed you have a fish tank. I would recommend doing some research on fish care so that your fish can thrive. A 5 gallon tank with a filter and heater are the bare minimum if you have a betta fish to make sure they are happy. I hope this helps :)

Flynn is such an angel. I Cannot wait to see what these two babies are going to be like. I doubt they will disappoint. 🥰
my mums friend had this when she was pregnant, she made sure she was resting and put cool objects on her face to help stop it :)
Face tingling can also be caused by anxiety in general so if your anxiety is higher, that can cause it but it can spread all over the body as well.
You are great parents I love how you talk to Flynn and he is so smart because of this !!

This is my first pregnancy and I haven't had any tingling. A week before my 21st birthday (almost 27 now) I developed Bell's Palsy on the left side of my face. The nerves had swelling around them which caused paralysis. That would be the closest experience to the tingling in the face that I had.
do you still have it?
@@sarahdrummond5334 No. It freaked me out so much that we went to the ER and they prescribed me steroids to reverse the swelling. I do still have extreme sensitivity in the winters on the left side of my face but I don't look like I had stroke anymore. The thing that really sucked was the timing around my birthday. I had to wait a month to properly celebrate.
@@fallen_artist aww that sounds pretty bad, happy to hear you’re better now :)

That is terrifying.
I’ve seen this first hand
This isn’t bells. You don’t get that in your neck and shoulders.
This is what I was thinking 😬 my mom had it
