The "RAYLA IM HERE" *door slams in his face* killed me. This season did not dissapoint and i loved seeing rayllum back along with viren pouring his heart out and just everything was amazing. Add on: I know a lot of people wanted an apology but for me I think they're better off without once since it shows how much they've grown to love and trust each other more than ever. 💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚💜💚
I think reading Skall's diary had a huge impact on Rayla's perception of her and Callum's relationship. Up until that point I think she still believed that leaving Callum and actually leaving was the right choice. I think both Skall and Rayla believed that their relationships were worth sacrificing if they believed it was for the greater good. Reading Skall's diary gave her a whole new (and much needed) perspective to her actions as she sees her own choices and motives reflected in Skall's but then reading her final thoughts gives her a glimpse into what her own final thoughts would have been had she never came back and ended up dying during her search. She looks so relieved when Callum bursts in because I think she realised right then that it wasn't too late for her to make the same mistake as Skall. After that I think she finally realised that what she and Callum have is not worth sacrificing at all, but should in fact be priority number 1 in her life.
Rayla honestly made the best decision. She saw that her parents were at peace with their choices and had each other meanwhile Runaan was suffering. Her options were take her parents and leave Runaan or take Runaan and only one of her parents. She made the smartest choice
In the most recent panel they actually said they wish to make 3 more seasons after book 7: Dark, but those 3 seasons were not greenlighted yet, and they are counting with the support of every fan to make it happen.
Oh god I hope they don’t try to end season 7 on a cliffhanger, unless they get a guarantee that they’ll get those seasons they should conclude the story but maybe leave things open for a continuation.
This season was amazing! My favorite moments are: 1. Leola's story 2. Sol Regem's death 3. Viren's sacrifice 4. Viren's backstory 5. The wedding 6. Ezran telling Viren he doesn't deserve mercy
YESS I was hoping for this, I watched the S5 reaction video just before S6 came out! Season 6 is absolutely my favorite season yet, absolute MASTERPIECE!! I love this show so much!
For me, I don't think Kosmo necessarily reversed time per say. For a while I was confused why everyone was in black and white but only HE was in color. But I understand why now, it was because he was experiencing time differently than the others. They explain that a Timeblind elf see the past, present, and future as one, which was what he was doing exactly in that moment. It was sort of a vision of what would happen if he said the full truth, that the pearl wasn't the real one but the decoy. He didn't undo his mistake bc technically he didn't make it in the first place. The timeline branched off the path when he decided to not tell them the real truth. So in the first timeline he did tell them, while in this one we currently are in, he didn't.
Yeah, sorry lol. I paused the video right before you explained that you already figured it out while I was typing the explanation. But you’re welcome anyway I guess 😅
31:11 when the ship is sinking, it burns out the words on the ship to only say “RAYLLUM”, which when I saw that I was saying “NOOOOOOO” because I thought that was symbolic of their “ship” sinking due to their duties that hold them back(Rayla holding doing what’s right as paramount, and Callum trying to stop Aaravos at all cost), but I see now that it was a troll by the writers.
Was not expecting the plot twist with Aaravos at all. Can't help but sympathise with him a lot more learning the Startouch elves killed his daughter because she helped humans. I always thought they'd be an ulterior motive to him helping humans but maybe all this time he just wanted to honour his daughter. Can't help but think the status quo is a bit fucked if they considered humans having magic a threat to the cosmic order.
I know, these 2 would be awesome together. It is a possibility because Ezran is going to need help building back his kingdom, giving these 2 time to interact.
I thought it was a powerful visualisation symbolising how virens story has come to an end, also could also mean Aarovos no longer has use for him, which is why it switches to Claudia.
1:01:01 I think his reasoning for burning it was explained in Cosmo’s speech. “The truth is everything. But before you give it to another, ask yourself. Are you giving them clarity, light, and purpose? Or are you shifting a burden onto someone who needs all of their strength?” I think Viren felt that giving Soren that letter would only cause Soren more pain. Knowing what Viren did to his mother and Kpp’ar to save him might make Soren feel guilt, and reopen the wounds left by his mother leaving and Viren’s emotional neglect from his childhood. And really, Soren didn’t need to know why Viren was so cold to him to get closure. Everything he needed to hear, Viren already said in the last episode. “It wasn’t your fault. You did not deserve to be treated so coldly. I don’t deserve forgiveness.” Basically, Viren felt like the only person he would’ve been helping with that confession would be himself, and he doesn’t deserve that.
How does Rayla know that Callum said “Destiny is a book you write yourself” if he said it only to his evil self when he used dark magic for the first time?
Viren gave up his heart for Soren and for the people of Katolis😢 That "you are a servant" back in season 1 felt kinda weird to me, but now... I LOVE The Dragon Prince, the writing is genius! And Viren might actually be my favourite antagonist of all time!!!
@@TheCovthank you I now realize that’s the episode where Rayla made a joke about him taking a bath. I like the added detail of his manis pluma valantis spell tattoos.
I have mixed feelings. I mean, the Rayllum part was done great, but I'm deeply dissatisfied with how Rayla's parents and Viren plots have been handled. Rayla's parents had a little exchange with Rayla and that's it, they're gone. And she chose Runaan just like that, no matter they were her biological parents. I hoped I would one day see how they interact with Callum, how they notice all the changes that happened in the world and how Rayla herself changed. Viren also died after interacting with very few other characters. I feel as if both these plots were rushed, as if we lost something that should have been there. Also, I don't like the exponential growth of the number of mascots and such, they're so unimportant imo, it feels as if they existed only to give more opportunities to sell merchandise. Unfortunetely, even though the show gets more and more dark, their appearance breaks the immersion of the show being somewhat more mature.

Yes, thank you, came here to say the same. Couldn't write it any better
It reminds me a lot of prescience from Dune; he's able to foresee the consequences of his actions and select a possible future with the best outcomes.
