- This is the complete details about Open Network Digital Commerce. As per the website of ONDC, in India, more than 12 million sellers earn their livelihood by selling or reselling products and services. However, only 15,000 of these sellers (0.125% of the total) have enabled e-commerce. E‑retail has been out of reach for the majority of sellers, especially from small towns and rural areas.
We at Chamber of Indian Micro Small and Medium Enterprises are also taking initiative to get MSME onboarded on ONDC Seller Platform through MSME MITRA.

Mera ek request hai, ondc registration k liye gst number mandatory na kia jaye to small farmers and small businesses man just like pan wala, panipuri wala v ashani se jud payega. Kyun ki unke pass koi GST number nehi hota hai. Aap ondc k system ko simply kijiye just like Amazon and Flipkart. Bas ye thoda change kijiye dekna 1 year pe kitne cr log judge.
Amazon ya Flipkart bhi GST ke Bina registration Karta hai kya ? Mera 6 months delay hua hai GST nahi tha isiliye. Recently I did it with Amazon, they asked for GST registration.

If the wrong product is delivered, it affects the farmer or MSMEs momentarily, but the ONDC platform's long-term impact restricts customers from making purchases. Establishing trust at the outset is crucial for ONDC; failure to do so could result in irreparable loss of credibility.
