Got mine 15 hours ago. Wears balanced and well on my 7.5" wrist. I am good with the flat back dial and the reason is, with the sapphire bezel, sapphire crystal, and if you notice the indicies and hands have reflective edges. I feel there is enough light reflective pieces on this watch and the flat black dial doesn't add reflection to the entire piece. Having the diver bezel option, IMHO, has just the right resistance and smooth clicking movement I have experienced. Lume is fantastic, which is not super important for me, however well done and having the applied large indicies helps with that. Plus the bezel loom as well which is new move forward for Ginault.. Believe Ginault uses the SW200-1 elaboré grade and 5 or 6 week regulation, my watch appears to be running at +1.5 seconds fast per day, which I prefer fast rather than slow, easier to adjust when needed. Case and band is well executed as the Ocean Rover 2, nice brushing on the lugs, polishing on the sides, chamfered lugs,. Just some nice touches there. The band is great, just really plays in concert in wearing this watch in a very balanced feel and is just comfortable. The band feels smooth and the micro adjust works great, no pinching, no issues snapping into place. I think with each model and sometimes versions of a model, they listen to customer feedback and improve where it makes sense to do so. I am pretty please with this time piece thus far.
@@WhoopAzzRacing End of March I ordered the diver bezel with no date which I believe is the first one they started working on, and received mid May. My Daughter ordered the hour bezel with no date at the same time I ordered mine for her hubby. She has no received it yet. So depends what you odered I think as to timeline.
Hi there. But of constructive criticism. Please put the price prominant, so that us cheapskates know if we can afford it or not. I checked your thumbnail and transcript and couldnt find the price. Also, that repetitive music is like being on hold for the inland revenue 😬😂
Thank you for the great review. Nice homage to Omega, I just don't understand why this brand with an owner who no one saw continues to use this gibberish language on the dial: Kinetic Continues and Submersible Maritime. I think the dial with the brand name, model name, and Chronoter 1000 f/300 m would be just fine. I like it, but not to the point where I consider placing the order.
If Charles Ginault ever shows his face and it doesn’t look like the face of Tsung Chi then I might consider buying one, but personally I don’t want to deal with a fraudster.
Yeah I see your point and some feel that way. I, on the other hand enjoy the controversy. I pretty much don't care who it is. Just focus on value vs quality of the watch. Believe it also gives a good idea of other watch manufactures customer cost vers manufacturing cost. If Ginault can make a profit on Phase 1 of these watches, what does that say about the others brands selling at $2K to $3k? IMHO I believe you can compare Ginault with any $2K to $2.5K similar watch for better or worse.
@@aussie8114 So are house prices, rent prices, car prices, food prices.. I have pretty much made a decision not to buy anything for a while and see how long this hyper inflation, supply chain stuff comes to a head. Thankful, I have no car payments, and 2 years from finishing paying the house off, because it is all crazy right now.
@@stephenstorrs3508 That’s great that you only have 2 years left on your house mortgage. Paid mine off about 10 years ago. It frees up a lot of money once you no longer have that cost.

Fantastic!! Mine should arrive in a few days and I can hardly wait. Thanks for the unboxing and comparison.
thanks Alex. Would love to see it under natural out-door lighting as well. cheers for the first hand review
I've been a ginault fan for some time now, fantastic watches .
Looks like an Omega Planet Ocean in the previous submariner case. Probably a popular combination.
First impressions look good Alex 👌🏼
I have a silent service en route. Maybe another 5-6 weeks but hopefully sooner!
Great video Alex! I own a few OR2s and I agree they are absolutely amazing, the quality is top notch. Can't wait for my SS to arrive!
My slient service has annoying Rotor noise is it normal ?
Looks beautiful.
Awesome watch, mine is on order
It reminds me of the Omega 2254
is there a ghost position on the No date ?
nope
Good review. You showed the wrong bezel action
How much does it weigh?
Another reviewer said it weighs 140 grams.

Tsung Chi will be happy.
