For example, in the Line 1, the part of Airport East to Xixiang don't have too many passengers but the part of Xixiang to Luohu has great amount of passengers as it is in the main urban area of Shenzhen, especially during the rush hour. To satisfy the demand in the downtown, some trains just operate to Xixiang only to let more trains can serve for the commuters in the downtown.
The partial route is for: 1. enhance service on busy sections of the line. 2. it's end of rushing hours, some trains will return back to depot as train frequency reduced. No1 is less common during off peak, since China mandatory metro train interval
