Tommy Dreamer is really giving some sound advice here. There's so much to this craft. I see Sami & Kimber Lee! And DJ Hyde! Very humbling to even hear these words.
Wrestling is for the 90s, not the 2010s. Only a few people make it today, such as Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose. You still have to be 6'0+ and very handsome to become a top guy. If you're a woman, you need to be a super hot model, like Eva Marie, Nikki Bella, or Paige. Otherwise, you can't make it past the mid-card at best.
Because it was his job. At least he hired someone who genuinely loved wrestling and not some ex football player who has no passion for wrestling. Brodus goes out and he enjoys himself and he's popular. You don't need to have TEH WORKRATEZ to be good at scripted entertainment.
It is so humorous to read fans commenting about how right Tommy is, or how it's sound advice. Not that it is not sound advice but unless you've worked in the business, you have no idea what is right and what is wrong. I get that you all know some of our termanology but if you haven't been in the ring, you honestlu know very little from what little things you may have leanred online.
do you even know what "work rate" means? it is a reference to a performer's ability to PERFORM THE JOB. examples of great work rate- daniel bryan, cm punk, brodus, sandow, rhodes, dem boys (briscoes) etc. examples of shitty work rate- batista, triple h, cena, hogan, etc.
no offence but whenever i happen to watch something from the indies, its all skinny guys. what happened to all the big dudes? and i dont mean fat guys like mitch page. it seems the young wrestlers stopped focusing on looks and put more into actual ring work. thats not a bad thing but if wwe has taught us anything, you dont need to be able to work. you just gotta look good and talk.
Tommy "I hired Broadus Clay" Dreamer
Dreamer looks like Julian from trailer park boys
It's great to see Aam Cole here asking questions.

Scott Ruth "our terminology"? are you in the wrestling business?
Well I have trained and will be going back soon so I know alot already
Dreamer seems like the perfect guy to get wrestling advice on: A legit nice guy, but will tell you the truth always, even if it sucks.
Yep.

HHH and Cena not being able to work... yeah right,
i never said they could not work, i said they work like shit.
Basically if you are training for wrestling do not join wwe
