I remember this field trip that my history teacher explained we used to watch this documentary and then when to a trip to Chicano park I loved that park it brings back memories that we used to when back in middle school ahhhh I loved that park.
Like always Mexicans and Chicanos being discriminated against. Hopefully one day our people can be at a level of equality. Only our people can handle this kind of discrimination.
I understand the identity problems Mexican Americans deal with. Me being Mexican American I was raised with no education of my heritage by my parents. They wanted me and my brothers to assimilate into American culture with a tad bit of our ethnic heritage. We are straight up pochos.
