I’m glad you make videos on Evisu. Where I live know one knows what it is and I like that but it’s also nice to know that other people love the brand aswell
There is evisu korea, where they sell fake evisu in korea and they have stores in department store and other shopping complex, In my knowledge. And also alot of kpop stars are model/adversite them. Kind of sad, its really hard to find real evisu in korea.
Thank you so much for this. I found some evisus at the thrift for $2 and was excited but a little suspicious becuase the denim itself felt a little low quality. The pants were checking out with the tags and pockets and I was excited but the selvedge gave it away.
from what i know evisu also produce non selvedge denim, they're the old/ vintage no. 3 variant since the old/ vintage no. 3 is made in china with lesser quality materials (non selvedge denim) and produced with mass quantity to fulfill the market demands.
european edition evisu jeans were never made with a selvedge cut yet used the same vintage indigo barn used in japan due to how they wanted to tailor the cut for that specific market yet source original materials from japan. figured i add that tidbit there
all evisu No1 and No2 sold in Japan and Japan only will have the red tab. also, there is always a "fold" on the back pocket for the real ones. and the middle belt tab is always sideways.
the Evisu with leather black tag, are legit, it was collection named "Evisu Mainline" (to be different of heritage and genes) Evisu mainline was designed "Classic" and they stoped this collection around 2010 lol
Hello I have a pair of evisu jeans I have checked everything and almost everything checks out, I just can’t find another pair like it anywhere online can you help me?
A reason why selvage is expensive is because the machines that produces the material is much less material per hour then modern machines that was introduced in the 70s. The end stitching on the inside isn't a reason why its expensive but is a sign that there was less material produced. So its more of a economic thing then a quality thing.
I did some research and actually on the sight some pants have curves in them but the stitch leading to the curve is closer to the outside seam on the pocket
There are evisus that's already washed (not raw) that doesn't have selvage tho.. especially the ones made in hongkong (evisu genes). N mostly the ones made in hongkong, the logo or patterns are usually printed, while the one made in japan in hand painted.. 1 more thing about the dark colour for the genuine (assuming it's raw jeans), after wash is similar to the fake ones...however, if u own several pairs of evisu, you can spot the fakes instantly..
Bro you seem to know alot about these jeans. I have a pair of jean shorts from the 90s that are fully customized buttons stitching everything. The tag says (mister collection) the only way I knew what they were are by the seagull design. Do you know anything about the mister collection
I think some of the early jeans are different. Not selvedge. Not EVISU branded buttons. I bought an authenticated vintage pair on Grailed. The inside tag is correct for Made in Japan. The leather patch has aged such that it’s illegible. But. The quality is high. The red tab is there but barely. Everything has aged appropriately. I wish someone would publish a complete guide to every lot Evisu made. These things are almost a currency unto themselves so the value of such a guide is immense.
hey bro, I have a ligth brown pants of this collection and I don't know if they're legit or fake. I searched on every site and I didn't found they but every detail seems me legit. How can I verify if they're legit or not?
Is it a safe buy when they claim to be new w/tags and the pictures show they actually still have the tags and whatnot on them? The pair I'm looking at also has a thing that says "Evisu Established in 1952" which I thought Evisu started in the 90's? The selvedge is real, but the back pocket stitching looks like your fake pair.
Are the international pairs worth it compared to the Japanese ones? I'm still in uni and idk if I'd be willing to drop some cash on this brand. Nice video!
yeah they're definitely still quality stuff. in fact they're better quality than most other brands whether international or straight from Japan. But of course the Japanese stuff is the best. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching
I found a legit pair in the thrift two weeks ago I'll never be the samee 😂 I also have a luxury/streetwear ebay store where I was gonna post them but 1 day I'd regret it like shyt
The tab is actually a Levi's copyright. You can get a pair with a red tab in japan but no red tabs in the US

bro really appreciate this, it’s there anyway i can send you some photos, because these jeans look so old, im not even sure at this point.!
if they look old/aged they're probably real. Fading on the back especially makes it a lot easier to legit check so they're probs real.
I did some research and actually on the sight some pants have curves in them but the stitch leading to the curve is closer to the outside seam on the pocket
The stitching is definitely a indicator bc if the stitching is fucked it can’t be evisu
Bro I’ve been needing this video since you put me on to evisu!!!!! 🔥🔥
Hell yea I'm glad you got use out of it
Ok but in the original site the stitching of the jeans were not very straight on the pocket 😬 so I don’t think that we should worry about that
Haha yea. I just checked the pair i just bought on site and the back pocket stitch goes in like the fufu pair 🤭 so we can cross that one off be list
May I ask, is there really a evisu deluxe edition? If it really exist can someone help me legit check my pair.
Please do a video on multi pocket Evisu authentication
i was looking at a pair on grailed that i was gonna pull the trigger on, but the back pocket stitching is kinda sus. now im not sure about it anymore
there are so much fakes on grailed you won't believe it

Hi I bought an Evisu jeans and an Evisu jacket. But I'm not sure if they are original. Can you help me? Could send photos.
Japan Evisus buttons say “craft & co style deluxe”
Mine say Style Craft & Co. And I believe they are authentic.
What if selvige have the EVISU white name on it? Everything beside that looks legit
