@@pinoyBrad the quality is good & it records in 4K 60 fps & HDR... the only issue is the black level. turning off HDR makes it where the blacks aren't as crushed & gray, but the issue is still there. it could be my specific PS5 Pro that has a black level issue with the recording function, but I'm not sure. you'd have to test it out. 99% of people won't notice the black level issue & you can mitigate the issue by adjusting the brightness & gamma settings in each individual game, but thats inconvenient. you can record up to an hour of 4K 60fps footage with PS5's built in capture, but that takes up about 25 gigabytes on your hard drive if you want to record 4K 60fps for an hour & it takes awhile to encode. other than that, its great... just that black level issue that i'm not sure how to fix. to be clear, the elgato footage still looks better... but ONLY because of the black level issue.
Hey! I noticed you passing on some shots because they are motion blurred or out of focus... at least I think that's what you are doing. You can fix both of those problems on any shot you intend to take. It's quite easy once you know how to do it.
how are you getting these deep black levels? how are you recording your ps5 pro gameplay? all the blacks on my ps5 pro are dark gray. turning HDR off helps but doesn't fix the problem. its not my TV because it has the same problem on my tv, computer screen & phone... the issue is in my built in recordings. so its the console itself. I can tell because the same games played from my standard ps5 or other consoles don't have this issue.
I turned off hdr. And i use elgato 4k x. Limited only to 4k30 for hdr so i cant use hdr because i usually record games at 60fps. Color is 709 in video output and capture in obs.

I think there is something wrong with PS5 Pro's black levels on its built-in gameplay recording function. although I don't see the issue in your videos.
It would be so much better if her face would express anything. There's so much going on, she should be focus, angry, in pain etc. And yet her face is always the same doll face. It's not visible during the game, but its hitting so hardly on the photo mode.
@thepabs911 oh, thanks for the info, that is something. Still it would be better for model to generate some expressions dynamically during the game and according to what's happening, but that is probably not that easy to achieve as I don't recall similar things in recent games.

The Nier Automata costumes are awesome ! The track even changes when you wear them in the Wasteland and Great Desert areas.

Ummm... you CAN change her expression in photo mode. I've personally done it many times. Works great!!
