I disagree with the points Bisbo made here. Indian selectors have been selecting teams in such random fashion that there was no consistency. In one series Ishan Kishan would open in another Ruturaj Gaikwad would, some times they choose a bowler like Prasidha Krishna and then suddenly dropped him from the next series. A big example would be Krunal Pandya who after winning two man of the series was sacked and was replaced by Axar when Jadeja got injured. So the selectors were a poblem is what I think. But this time the concept of a 20 player pool is a good decision.
Yes Kaustubh, we have already mentioned this in the past videos. Just saying that team management dominates the selectors to get the players they want.
Bisbo, your love and concern for Indian cricket show through every such episode. Far better to focus on cricket than on political bickerings. Keep the limerick going!

England's approach also has weaknesses however, they witnessed a good amount of Top order collapses in the recent South Africa tour which a playstyle like that of India avoids, taking time to get set at the start in order to know the conditions and then take advantage. My first video I watched of yours and I really liked it so off to watch more!

Sarfaraz has no international exposure at all. Selecting him for bgt would have been like throwing him to tigers in a cage plus Sarfaraz has alot of fitness issues. I have seen him since his earlier ipl days in RCB he struggles in pressure and fitness was an issue back then as well.
I am no cricket expert but bisbo lacks cricket knowledge as well can be seen in this video.

I have seen Sarfaraz struggling to run in ipl and finding it hard to breath while he was in RCB.

This generation thinks that having a skinny body is called fit but no skinny is not fit.
And talking about risabh he is arguably the best wicketkeeper batsman in test among current cricketers as well as Rohit is best opener.

And he will get a chance eventually after bgt or WTC it was just too risky as a move to select Sarfaraz out of oblivion for such a big tournament.
