August was a tough month. We have band camp, which takes up most of the month. And Gus had to be quarantined after having a canine virus that involved a trip to the Animal ER in a town 90 miles away.
This video shows the beginning work on the fireplace for the porch, the sound of the cicadas at night (my favorite), grapes and rowan berries growing wild, little reptile, insect and furry friends found along the trails and one that met an untimely death at the jaws of Gus.
