Always liked this band. Nice people, saw them play at a grange hall years ago. I lost a tiny bit of hearing from that show, from Colin's insane bass rig. Wish they had just a bit more recognition.
Saw them last year opening for Gorguts and it hurts to admit this since I've been a huge Gorguts fan for years, but Dysrhythmia completely stole the show.

Seems like Colin took out his BTB's active preamp system, I see no knobs on his bass body. Back in 2012 he still had the pickups balance knob on, now I don't see it anymore, but I see that red sticker looking thing right between where the master volumen and mid-freq-boost knob was. And if I'm not mistaken back in 2009 he had all of the knobs still on. Now... why did he do that? Can you actually play an active bass taking out the active preamp system, using only the passive pickups? Could that have something to do with his bass tone? Idk...I'm still ignorant when it comes to electronics, hohoho, but I'm curious...

Now I dont have a bridge pickup, so it’s all neck for all bands."

That hat n ride work was something else, they're all exceptional players but the drummer really stood out for me.
