If Adam comes back in Season 2 he should be a Nightmarish Hallucination haunting Charlie similar to Slade from Teen Titans and other villains who continue to haunt the main protagonists and Adam being played serious would be awesome and scary I imagine him having glowing red eyes and his mask having a demonic holographic light to it and he would have black wings and I imagine him more insane than ever. Especially with a deeper gruff voice voiced by Alex Brightman but still a funny entertaining villain. I imagine Charlie having PTSD and nightmares from the horrible experiences where she has nightmares about Adam and Sir Pentious and nightmares where she watches her friends girlfriend and father die by Adam Lute and the Exorcists she doesn't tell her friends and girlfriend and father since she doesn't want them to worry and while she's awake things she starts having terrifying Nightmarish Hallucinations of Adam and Sir Pentious where Adam tells her she's just as bad as he is and Sir Pentious blaming her for his death and hearing their voices in her head and Charlie would be sleep deprived she would lash out at her friends girlfriend and father in paranoia thinking Adam is back as they try to help her Emily and the real Sir Pentious should be included too where they Vaggie Lucifer and Angel Dust try to tell Charlie the Adam and Sir Pentious she's seeing isn't real but she's too blind with anger paranoia and fear to listen. And she then almost attacks her friends while trying to protect them from Adam and Original Sir Pentious but Vaggie would knock Charlie unconscious to stop her from attacking her and their friends feeling remorseful for doing it and instead of strapping Charlie down they would use a forcefield shield by Lucifer to keep Charlie from hurting herself. In one of Charlie's nightmares she would see herself as Adam under his mask while fighting him. And unlike Robin Charlie's injuries would not be as bad as his were since Charlie would just have a few tears in her clothes but not a swollen black eye and broken wrist to the point of near death but still brutal enough but she would trip and fall over stuff while trying to fight her hallucinations of Adam. This would be the darkest and scariest episode idea for Hazbin Hotel Season 2 I can totally see their facial expressions voice acting and Charlie's facial expressions from her Paranoia and lashing out.

I know a lot of people say he shouldn’t, but I really hope he does come back in the second season. Not just because he’s my favorite character, but because he’s SO integral to the story in every way. It would be a HUGE blunder to not use him in the show’s future
