I’m amazed that so many people drop their old boards at the store. I thought almost nobody would do that.
MANNNNNN! You haven't made arcade cabinet yet! Where have you Ben!? Let's Go Whooooo! It's a good addition to your van I believe.
Beautiful! You could mosaic them and make a table
you should make a table top out of these trays - maybe hexagon tile - maybe a north star design - that could be a really cool design - or your version of a roulette wheel
Hi Ben, Why use the band saw for cutting the strips for the frame instead of the table saw? Not trolling. Just trying to learn. Thanks!
Safety basically: cutting long narrow strips on a table saw presents difficulties pushing the stock through and has a fairly high probability of kickback.
There are ways to use a table saw if you don't have access to a bandsaw but look up how to do it, especially the safety aspects.
Supercool stuff, as every time :-) What is the music when cutting the maple?
What is that you're tying around the wood frames as they dry? Just string?
Love love love them!! So fun and versatile 😎😎
love your projects, glad i saw this early enough for some to still be available!
Dope tray, great video
amazing editing and music on this one!
Amazing as always
Nice , they look very nice.. Good job..
Dood, these would be great if a clock mechanism was installed in the middle.
Wooow is back!!
why not a clock?
I like them I think they're trippie
I really don't get it why we italian are ridicolised because of our gesture while talking...😂😂😂
These are really slick the color patterns of the skateboards have me wondering what a @michaelalm style patterned plywood mosaics would look like. Oh the possibilities!
Beautiful! They would look good all hung together.
I like it!!
9:25 Idk wha tthat yellow thing is, but I love how much it looks like a computer mouse.
It does. It's a hand sanding block
Such a cool idea! do you have plans for this? or would you be willing to share what miter degree you cut them at?
It's a hexagon. The three interior angles are 60 degrees, the angles on the wrap are 30 degrees. And, at time stamp 15:20 he mentions the angle for the individual strips.
Great video. Well shot and edited. Extra Fancy trays. Dope. Mahalo for sharing! 😊❤🙂
Great idea to use scraps, but you can't say "entirely" since you broke down a sheet of Baltic birch plywood for the base.
Which was also scraps from my previous project so you’re wrong
@@WobyDesign I can see it's not a full sheet, but how can you call it scrap. I would call it a left over, an off cut, partially broken down, but not scrap. Scraps to me are pieces that could be thrown out, because they aren't a full project on their own. They need more scraps to become something. So, using your definition of scraps, can I come raid your scrap pile?
Might I suggest, using an L fence on the table saw next time to cut each hexagon to shape. I did this recently for an accent wall, it was super easy.
love that whooo.. plus those trays are pretty cool.
These are so cool what a great idea that you can hang them or use them as a tray. Keep up the great work
These look really cool! Really enjoyed your problem solving and assembly process here, even more than usual. Thanks for sharing!
