Everyone gave this guy so much hate for this, but it really was fantastic. I don't know how a full length Garry's Mod film can make anyone mad. Again, thank you for preserving the past.
@@latviandragon2718 I can’t remember exact details, but I vividly remember people being upset that the animation looked a little rough and the story seemed outrageous. I didn’t understand them, even back then I thought it was wonderful.
@@Jackster743 It was also 2015, when "cringe culture" was at it highest peak, and whatever was deemed as cringe at the time, people would automatically hate it for some asinine reason. Also of course, some douche-canoes as always some can never be satisfied. I mean yeah, not gonna lie, the movie could've been better, but we should just be happy that the thing even came out in the first place. Some peeps are goofy, dude.
So I just got finished watching this movie after so many years, and I gotta say it feels like I just reconnected with my inner child, like a piece of my soul was reclaimed. I know it sounds very dramatic, but this fan movie legitimately inspired me as a kid in 2015/2016, and hell it still inspires me. This is a legit passion project made with pure love. Sure now looking through the perspective of an adult with my rose tinted glasses (slightly) tilted downward, the dialouge, voice acting, and pacing isn't as great. But then again, these were just friends having some good old fashioned fun, so i'm willing to let it slide. I never really understood why people hated this movie the way they did back then. I guess it was because "Cringe Culture" was at it's peak, and anything that was deemed as "cringy" was automatically bad or whatever. I hope TonyJCNJ's doing alright, wherever he is right now, I hope he knows he's still got fans and folks in the Gmod community that still watch his stuff...

Tony actually commented on his upload asking how many references could we find in the movie. I responded with “It was only a Corvette.” From XXX (2002).
Considering TonyJCNJ's latest videos before he shut his channel down, I'm willing to assume that he went through a rough patch in his life. I asked TonyJCNJ's friends why he shut his channel down, but apparently they don't answer to people they don't know. Guess we'll never know the real reason.
