    I love how well-thought-out you are about your business...you're one sharp gal!!! Couple of thoughts I had while watching: Pay attention every year when Pantone announces the Color of the Year. So many other businesses pay attention to it, using it as a guide to direct their offerings in fasion, house wear & decor etc. This year it's Viva Magenta, and for floral design this means Lots & Lots of beautiful colors of this great red, all the tints, tones, and shades, plus all the possible complimentary colors and color combos! Please try to check out the pricing videos from Floral Design Institute...I think you may be underselling yourself some. Keep up the great videos, I'm so enjoying them & Thank You! Wishing you growth & success 2023 🥰

      Thank you for so much incredible info! admittedly I know very little about color of the year and how it weaves into and directs consumer purchases! I’ll look into pricing too! Thank you!

      “Friller!” I love it! I immediately thought of the little seed pods that develop on flax plants after the blossom drops off. I’m in love with those little green beads and now have the seeds to be able to grow them this year, Can hardly wait.😊🌱

    I use a spreadsheet that shows many things but among them I have three columns (one for each succession) “seed start” “plant out date” “bloom date” so based off your maturity dates, you should be able to sort your spreadsheet to what will be blooming each month.

    This is an excellent video - you do really learn a lot in your first year, and taking thorough notes is absolutely key. Your own bouquets are wonderful.

    • @pstreetflowers

      Thanks for such kind words! Yes you learn a lot 😅 so much I may just make some of the same mistakes again out of pure forgetfulness 🤭 Notes, notes, notes this year!!

    So happy I found your channel!
    Just watched an old video about your compost. I don’t know if it worked out in the end, but I know an important ingredient is water. Yours looked very dry.
    Anyway, going to watch your seed haul and obsess about what flowers to buy.

    • @pstreetflowers
      @pstreetflowers  ปีที่แล้ว

      😂🙌🏾 yes obsession with flowers is the best!! I’m glad you’re here, thank you! And we’re constantly learning about compost - couple of others had commented on it being dry as well- we’ll definitely be making not of that!!! Enjoy 💕♥️

    Mi piaci davvero un sacco! sei bravissima e molto determinata, spero che farai tanti tour nei mesi primaverili ed estivi :) l'unica cosa è la risoluzione dei tuoi video che è molto bassa, non mette a fuoco bene i fiori, servirebbe un 1080p. baci dall'italia, Firenze

    I'm not sure what is meant by 'air'??

    • @pstreetflowers
      @pstreetflowers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s a term from a blog post written by Erin, founder of Floret. It’s referring to stems that represent something with movement and offers uniqueness to a bouquet - jewels of opar or geum are great examples!

    You're on the up and up but you need to compensate yourself for your time and skill in addition to the number of stems, wrapping, flower food, etc. I know you want to give your customers a sense of good value, but you're over-stuffing, too many stems and undervaluing yourself. That's not a sustainable business model. I say this with absolute love. Your bouquets are beautiful. You're playing the game of farmer-florist. Charge more or use less material, that's my constructive criticism. Best to you and your season ❤️

      Thank you for giving some great feedback - I love when others help by offering constructive support ♥️ It’s a balancing act, for sure, getting it just right! I’ll definitely be taking your advice into consideration for the up coming year!
