Another great video John and some lovely images of what is a beautiful location in Perth and Kinross. I had the pleasure of visiting Aberfeldy and the Birks in March this year and managed to get some nice images of the falls. Looking forward to your next vlog, 👍👍
Really enjoyed this video what lovely place to visit compositions were excellent you were really lucky with the wind blowing the leaf into the shot. Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely love the Birks, John, I head up like yourself every Autumn, wonderful colours. You got some lovely shots, I think the tints are a little earlier this year. I headed last week to Pucks Glen after your recent trip reminded me how beautiful it is, like yourself got over very early and had a couple of quiet hours where you could actually put your tripod up!. BUT! by mid-morning it had turned into a continuous column of people making the use of a tripod impossible.
Aye, roll on the Autumn at the Birks. 🍁🍂👍Nice video again John cheers. Have you ever visited the waterfalls at Campsie Glen just down from the car park on the B822? Waterfall- tastic 😉
Thanks! Havent been to Campsie Glen in years! I almost went a few weeks ago but the car park was busy so i continued on to Fintry Loup. It's on my to-do list!
Im trying to wrap my mind around how a22 megapixel camera can produce results so off the charts fabulous ! The detail and colors look far exceeding the new cameras of today… could you please share a bit of your editing process if you please
Great video as always and a lot less litter in the water this week 👍 Oh, and I need to get myself one of those "special leaves" to enhance my shots. I wonder if they sell them on eBay. 😀
Tongue firmly in cheek throughout the vlog. Lovely compositions, although I thought your camera had been switched for a Fuji regarding the greens or was it just St Patrick's Day 🍃(Yes, this actually is an emoji of a leaf blowing in the wind) Having avoided for years that well known tourist site you recently did a vlog about (Accident Alley) my youngest wanted to go down it; she grumbled at the 7am ETA but we got it to ourselves for an hour before a couple from Brisbane Australia turned up. Hardly any water really but still enough to discover a hole in my welly.
Thanks Iain! I might nick that emoji for future videos! I'll be returning to that very location you allude to in the next 2 weeks in the company of another, much more popular, TH-cam photographer.... an early start has been strongly advised!
@@JohnMcKennaPhotography Let me know, if you don't mind. I'm sure it will be okay with him. I've been telling him there's more to Scotland than Glencoe for years.
Your photographs and videos are truly a feast for the eyes! Mystical and magical! ❤
Thank you! :)

You’ve been so lucky over the years with leaves blowing into the composition!

It made me laugh. Thanks for another great video.

"That's not cheating, it's nature." That's what I tell myself when I move some twigs or grass away from the front of my lens. :)
Exactly! I nearly did it with that branch later on too!
Great stuff again John it’s a pity you had to Leaves so early.😀
haha! Thanks Malcolm! I should have stayed because 2 of the next few locations were packed and I couldn't shoot them!!
Top Drawer

Not normally a leaf but I find a log often "drifts" into the image........
haha, they love the attention!
But water doesn't look like that
