    I wanted to correct myself on the Elvie price! It's $499! :)

    Thank you for this video, Lauren! I am pregnant with twins and was suuuper close to buying the Elvie because it looks so convinient and if it was easily available in Dubai I would have probably already purchased it. After reading some reviews on Elvie's pumping power and the decrease of breast milk supply it causes, I started looking into Medela... After watching your review, I will definitely go for the Medela, thanks a million!

    The Elvie is so worth it. After investing in such a nice pump I would hate to spend money on extra parts and bags (these aren't cheap!). Elvie comes with a full extra set of parts/bottles so you have everything you need right out of the box, especially useful for busy moms who don’t have a ton of time to wash parts. It also lets you toggle between letdown and expression mode, which I have read the other hands free pumps do not. Be sure to check with your insurance to find out if it covers any of the cost. Also, I'm hearing Elvie's having a 15% off Mother's Day!!

      That is true, the extra parts are so good to have!! The freestyle also lets you toggle between both as well! Did you find yours lost suction after a while? I’m thinking I may have just need new parts! :)

    Thank you for the video! I'm Canadian so getting an elvie/willow here is very very expensive with conversion and duties (around $800 CAD), so it's definitely what's holding me back from getting that. The Medela Freestyle Flex isn't as handsfree/discreet as the willow/elvie, however it does seem like a good pump overall. Thanks again!

    Thank you so much for this video. It’s best video on entire TH-cam I have seen treating about Elvie and Medela. So honest opinion. I completely agree with you that Elvie’s suction is not as effective as the others pumps. I bought Elvie couple days ago and I already regret it. :( In one session I optain maximum 80 ml while with my manual pump I obtain 150 ml! Elvie is not worth it's price at all. I will give a try to Medela as I return to work soon and need to start to prepare my milk stash.

    I had the elvie with my daughter and if it was half the price then I'd definitely get it again this time. Instead I have bought the Medela, I got it on sale so it cost me the same price for the double that it would cost me for a single elvie!
    I've not been able to try it as I'm still pregnant but can't wait to give it a try! This video helped me realise I've hopefully made the right choice! Xxx

    Great info exactly what I was looking for :) I tried the Elvie with my first baby and didn't love it.

    thank you! This was so helpful! Now I am between the Spectra S1 Plus and the Medela Freestyle Flex 2. Any opinions/advice on how to decide? :)

    I can’t stand my Elvie! It leaks & creaks! I wish I would’ve done more research lol. Looking into the flex now! Thank you for the information (:

    How is the suction of this compared to hospital grade pump?

    • @laurenevasheriff
      @laurenevasheriff  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've never used a hospital grade pump so I wouldn't be able to say! I will say that wireless pumps tend to have less suction power then ones that plug in!
