She said she was the only Yellow Ranger to have two different helmets. But there was one more actress to wear two different suits on the show: Tracy Lynn Cruz.
I think reason why Nakia kept taking the mic because she wanted to help and Andre was holding the mic a little low for her at the beginning. Also I didn't like how they pushed her character into the background. I found her character very interesting. I would love to see what would happen after power rangers of ever type of rangers. Like Nakia and Andre was saying like parents of power rangers etc. not that 2sec. of the last ep. to explain what happened after they lost there powers.
See this bums me out: the Power Rangers actors are actually really funny and charming in real life, but the producers purposefully stuck them with bland dialogue and weak direction. Look at how Johnny Yong Bosch has taken off on his own! He's hilarious! If only someone could have nurtured that.
My favorite Yellow Ranger is probably Chip from Mystic Force. He wore capes (even before he became a Ranger) and had an anti-vampire kit. He was awesome.
Nakia Burrise makes the distinction of being only one of two power rangers (yellow and gold; the Triplets) being premiere characters on Zeo. Woot woot!
they are not saying she was the 1st black girl power ranger... they meant she was the 1 black girl power ranger who has to. yellow helmets... I'm 30 so i stop watching P.R around half power ranger in space.... and was devastated that my Tanya tommy and cat and adam had to leave... they was bout to taking over... they well always be my favorite cast... I'm so glad i grew up in the area when M.M.P.R Zeo and Turbo came out... it would never be another bulk and skull... S.I.P Trini...
I just remembered that it was never revealed who the Phantom Ranger was in Power Ranger's Turbo so I was wandering if you had any theories about who it might be?

Ashley also had two helmets, Turbo Ranger and Space Ranger. And now Gia too, Megaforce and SuperMegaforce.
Burrise is a class act. A real credit to the Power Ranger universe. Fan since 94.

There's at least two other Yellow Rangers with two helmets. Ashley (her immediate successor, Turbo and Space) and Gia (Megaforce and Super Megaforce).
