@@spenceryork8043 thanks for the reply. I might have to get them. Really depends on which has the best grip. I've been using the rovers since August and do really like them, and they have provided good grip in Norway when it has been wet.
@@guitarwi3rdo There's abec and there's abec evolve. Abec 11 pulleys will not work with cloudwheels cause I think they are abec evolve 😂 Hence, can we all just kegel 😂
great review as usual fred! mad 105 V2 is currently my favorite street wheel and I'm with you on those rubber 115s almost broke my wrist getting the bearings into those things tbh - Ima spring for a set of galaxy pros just because I can't resist that ridiculous green color and I'm curious to try a boosted style wheel with tread
So what would you recommend for normal rought and damp roads.. This new Galaxy, or Rover 110, Hyrdos 100, cloudwheel discovery 105.. or others?.. I've asked this question so many times.. I just want something that is comfortable, safe and will give me a little more range..
i honestly prefer the 105 discoveries…. our link and discount code work for them.. IF ur board is bigger, like a acedeck ares or a nomad, then i say 120mm discoveries. but if its like a onsra black carve, a hadean, a zeus, or tyne explorer, than i vote 105mm discoveries. ✅💯🤘🏼
I have an exway Flex ER and Atlas 2wd... I'm selling them.. but.. I went out on them with the Flex ER.. amazing feeling.. so.. if better than the galaxy.. UK roads.. rough and some pot holes.. stick to it? @@esk8unity
@@esk8unitythe discovery have like a mm of contact patch and slide out from under you if you hit the smallest patch of water , why would you recommend that? 💀
@@kingkarma4286 i dont ride in wet conditions. i also did a qk video showing pushing the carve hardddd and it doesnt break traction (in dry conditions).. u carve decently aggressive in a wet surface under ANY wheels, u WILL slip out. never understood this complain .
@@esk8unity you sure it's not just your favorite wheel and you're being biased and ignoring it's obvious flaws and attempting to make them seem illegitimate? Because the street ate like half my palm because discovery wheels slid out from under me on dry pavement turning going less than 15 mph downhill. And as I mentioned they slide out in the smallest moisture amount in a straight line, almost died.
Top tip for anyone still running onsra rubber wheels: if you pry them on your axle (same way you would to pop out the bearings) juuusst a little bit, you'll get a way better free roll from them
If you're gonna review grip on all these different wheels. Why don't you put up a speedometer while you're doing deep carves? Most are gonna grip fine at 15mph, let's see some higher speed carves in relation to grip reviews.
Yeah… Hey Fred! I have a 100ft diameter section of uninterrupted champagne asphalt (champavement) that I do “skid pad” tests on when I get on any new board/wheel. If you have a spot like that, as THE consistent reviewer of wheels (the Urethane Connoisseur) you could build a g force/grip test comparison list of all the different wheels 🛞!! I’ve seen some vids where esk8ers have a g force meter on the screen - so sweet that there’s an app for that! I used to read my dad’s Road & Track mags growing up & I always kept a close eye on the skid pad tests & the slalom speeds to pick my future rides 😎
Thanks!
Which has a softer ride the normal cloudwheels or galaxy?
So we still have the mad wheel at the top . Are they as good as a dad bod.
Pulleys and charging ports is how they keep shite annoying, but contrast is valuable.
Could you review the hub motor variant of these too, please?
Thanks for the video bro. Very helpful info.
Only took how many years to put treads on mad wheels. This are amazing though, excellent review 🙏
Would you rate the rover 110 over these?
Love my rovers, but I bet I'll like these more for the shock absorption

Can’t we all just do kegel pulleys :(
Not as long as abec11 is still around

They come in smooth also
These or the new Mad V2?
Curious on the bearings you use. I have a different brand in all my wheels they all seem the same to me.
Useful review as always! Thanks!

What trucks are those?
Jersey!
In to hopefully win the wheels or Tynee. 😅
🔥🔥🔥
Having one less hole is an upside if that was their way of fixing the vibrations people were complaining about at low speeds
Top speed nutz on ur new board
🎉🎉
Doesnt even resemble a cloud wheel anymore. Since madesk8 did wheels right, others hop on the bandwagon.
Og clouds are great when it’s dry and dusty. Anything damp or a little bit smooth, you’re going down
I have Cloudwheels Rover hydro 110 ... Better Life long than my ONSRA rubber wheels 115
The colors will sell them alone.
Stop burning out on my wheels
No thank you. 190x50 pneumatics for life. I’ll never go back to a poly.
