- Valorant has a LOT of things that need to change about the console version. Hopefully Rito games cares about their community and will announce their plans for all of these things!

Is xbox's outdated controllers fault that there is no gyro support on console. Its sad when games doesnt respect players skill.
Ps5 should have gyro and Xbox should have mnk imo. Fuck aim assist and dual analog stick aiming, you shouldn't be forced to use a subpar aiming input with partial aimbot

Valorant console is for console players. Not for pc players trying to farm on console. I don’t think you are wrong about some of these and there should be options but they aren’t trying to make valorant ( console for pc players )

I only play on console but alot of my friend have been playing and talking about this for year so I'm glad I can finally try it. It's a good thing, it's only gona make this game more popular and more money for the company

also theres several bugs with menus occasionally you can get perma locked ads perma stuck in a menu or have your position in menus disappear entirely forcing you to guess where you are hovering over
Yeah I noticed too. Also an Xbox bug that kicks people out of games

I think the console version was made to be simple and casual friendly. They don't want to make it confusing for all of the new players, but some of your points are still valid for casual players too.

I agree with everything in this video aside from gyro Xbox is not only 20% of the player base on this game specifically and giving one of the two platforms such a large advantage would serve against the growth of the game. I believe instead the biggest change needing to be made to this game is aim assist. The aim assist is way too strong and shouldn’t even be in the game. It takes literally the entirety of a skill gap out of this game and coddles new players. Aim is the primary and basically the only mechanic that can take u from a mediocre player to a very good one. If everyone has It the only thing left in this game is game sense and at that point I might as well go play chess. Fix the aa or remove it otherwise this game will be dead in less than a year.
Microsoft's lack of competence and innovation shouldn't mean that other games have to be forced to use stick aiming.
They had 3 console generations to implement it and the most they could do was put a share button and USB type C.
They have no excuses being one of the biggest and most valuable companies in the world.
Absolutely agree on the AA part, but i still think any fps game with stick Is an awful experience and not really enjoyable
Ps5 should have gyro since its a feature of their controller, while Xbox should have Mnk. That way, if you choose to play stick its your choice, and you have better inputs available making the gameplay less frustrating

Its a console game MEANT to be played with STICKS not gyro. You cant be upset they arent using it.

skill issue man. Ive been playing scrims and tourneys just fine. Just get used to the basic controls like i did. It should take you no more than 4 days.
It's not a skill issue I have no problems carrying. It still sucks and I'm sticking to controller on PC cuz it's actually playable

No, it's stronger on 120hz. I was trying to show that aim assist on 60hz was way stronger than 120hz PC

i agree with the no aim assist thing but i also dont agree that the game needs gyro, sure its a cool thing that they could add but its totally unnecessary, they just gotta improve the way the game feels with analog sticks, just look at siege for example, the game has no aim assist, but its relatively easy to aim in that game because they actually put time and effort to make controller feel good, riot needs to do that aswell. Some other things i have to say, the buy menu isnt really bad besides the fact you cant move while in it, i definitely agree with all your takes on the map, I 100% disagree with your take on the keybinds, with what a controller has to offer i think they did a pretty much perfect job on the keybinds, theyre all set to really good buttons that just about any1 can pick up right away, if you cant i genuinely things its a bit of skill issue tbh. genuinely think your just hating to hate, the game is extremely good and your just mad at the smallest little things. the game is for console players not pc players. if you care so much instead of hating just play pc.
I never complained that the map was difficult to press, I said it was time consuming since you had to press touchpad, tab over, and then navigate with the slow cursor. Also I don't get how not letting people remap the buttons makes them "extremely good", the layout was made by people who never touched a controller before keep that in mind. If they were going for intuitive then drop would have been d-pad down not d-pad left

@@idkrossplay it’s not crossplay so it don’t matter but half the things you talk about are because you played pc for example the agent abilty being in different slots

Is there any AIM assist on console? While playing i get oneshotted by every pc player without sense, its so frustrating. Plus when i turn off the cross play, cant play ranked
@alessandropaesani9592 if your on console you shouldn't be having to be Versing pc players. No aim assist so it focuses more on reflexes, understanding what crosshair you use and recoil control or as I like to think recoil memory.

Causal players can then go and play a casual game. Fps games are about competition, and aim assist spits in the face of that

Game has 3 main problems:
- broken aim assist
- damage issues
- desync between players
