A full unabridged audiobook of the classic fairytale, "The Happy Prince", by Oscar Wilde - complete with sounds and visuals.
The Happy Prince tells the story of a town full of suffering poor people and a swallow who was left behind after his flock flew off to Egypt for the winter. The swallow meets the statue of the late "Happy Prince", who has never experienced true sorrow, for he lived in a palace where sorrow was not allowed to enter. Viewing various scenes of people suffering in poverty from his tall monument, the Happy Prince asks the swallow to take the jewels covering his body to give to the poor.
It was first published in May 1888, as part of a collection of fairytales by Wilde.

I'm memorizing this story, which is difficult, because it contains over three thousand words. I am about two-thirds done and this unabridged clip is helping me.
The Stephen Fry audiobook version is abridged, though it is called "unabridged". I appreciate that this version is complete.
