I have the whole series on DVD. I stream shows that I don't have in my collection. I love having my DVD's. "Knight Rider" is o e of my favorite action series of the 80's. "Airwolf" is a very close 2nd.

0.04 look how KARRs trajectory alters mid-boost at an unseen point just off screen. A really nice bit at 0.13 where Kitt's scanner comes on whilst driving. I don't think I've ever seen that before. I know it was early days here for the studio editing, but at 2.06 when Bonnie says "Michael, I can't help but notice you're putting us on a collision course with Karr" it's an eternal 43 seconds later when Michael does actually move into a collision course. There's a lot of studio money on screen in the early part of this clip. After watching Knight Rider Historians for so long, I found out that the only 4 cars that were owned by the studio were all used to portray Kitt AND Karr.

KARR was programed to preserve his own existence, Michael was counting on KARR turning away in the last second of the chicken game to save himself, going right over the cliff since KITT was offset a little.
If you think that's cool you should hear some of his other villain roles such as Venger from the old Dungeons & Dragons cartoon and Nemesis from Robotix. Even though she didn't know much about voice actors my mom was especially fond of his bad guy role of Murky Dismal in Rainbow Brite.

They didn't want to spend money on trashing another car, so they recycled shot from 'The Car', assuming that it wouldn't be visible on CRT screens back then.

Right.. in KITT vs KARR, only an electric harness was disconnected. I don’t think they expected to bring KARR back for a sequel. One more detail… KARR lands on water. But he is discovered buried in the sand on a beach. 🤷🏻♂️
Storywise, KARR faked his death by launching something. Reality wise, Knight Rider's popularity was dropping because everything was getting worse and worse, from scripts to music, and between one drink and another line of you know what, creators figured out, they can get some attention by making KITT and KARR fight again.

Yes indeed, he was replaced in the 3rd season however he did return as KARR-E in the 2008 version of Knight Rider.
Peter also does voice over acting for cartoons.
His voice is awesome.

Look in the internet there's a couple of sites that have episodes available for viewing.
Also, 2:50 whoever was actually driving was putting hands on in the most incorrect way. Plus, no person in stress would do it that way.
Chicken is a game I never really liked...😢 In this case poor KITT had no control, it's one of the few times I questioned Michael's actions.

I was in Universal Studios in 1985. They had a line of about 8 or 9 KITT body shells all battered/ bent from the jumps. Weird to see as a kid.
