    Great video, thanks.
I own a JVM restored 1900 DWM Am Eagle Luger, S/N 784*, no Import mark ("GERMANY" was stamped below the S/N on frame to denote import). Beautiful shooting gun chambered in 7.65x21 (30 Luger). Has been 100% reliable for my sons and I, and a few friends.😄
I wonder why nobody in the Martz family has gone through his paperwork to clearly define his body of work. It's well know he kept detailed records of what he produced.
My 1900 DWM Am Eagle example popped up on GB a few years ago. The minimum bid was around double what "trials" guns (6200 thru 7200) were selling for at the time. I REALLY wanted to add a JVM gun AND a Luger to my collection, so I placed the min opening bid and won it.
Had a feeling of overpaying until my FFL received the gun and I got to view it. Gorgeous 100% numbers matching gun in near 100% condition, no machining marks, sharp edges/corners, and a bore that appeared unfired. The workmanship shows perfect deep mirror bluing, like the gun was just pulled from a vat of oil, impeccable strawing, dark purple flame finishing on the grip screws, front sight, and toggle link pivot pins.
