I have a BMW 1250 RT, man I wish my wife rode bikes too. I currently have a small 18ft travel trailer toy hauler. And looking to go bigger. Trying to decide between a 5th wheel toy hauler and a Class A toy hauler. Problem with a 5th wheel is I would have to trade in my 2023 Tundra for a bigger powerful truck, and I love my Tundra. Great video!
@@mr.stickyfingers3189 Thank you for watching! That’s a hard choice. One of the main reasons we went with a 5th wheel was so that once at a location we had a vehicle to run errands or drive around. I guess you could tow your Tundra?
Fun Video. Be interesting to see how much you regret riding bikes on beach after a year. Been there, done that and don't do it anymore unless I'm selling my bike.
Yeah, it can be caustic. If you noticed at about the 5 min mark of the video we immediately went to the car wash and I washed them down with freshwater really well. Been riding Motos on the beach for years. Just have to spray em off quick. Thank you for watching!
Usually sand crabs take care of the MWR areas. But in the ole Navy all newbie’s had to do 90 days mess cooking, first lieutenant “barracks” cleaning, TAD to the base and then you got assigned to your shop. Someone has to do it so they rotate them where needed. Now days, who knows what they do!! The good part was we didn’t do a 6 mile “road” march to the motor pool to get a vehicle to go to the armory to get a weapon to go to the range then back to the armory to clean our weapons, and the back to the motor pool before we went to our MOS before heading to the chow hall and then home🥴 USN Retired🇺🇸
I also put an order in for the Brinkley G3500 last week. I placed the order because I went with the queen bed with night stands as I live alone, so there is no need for the king size. I also ordered double pane windows. The desktop board insert. Delivery is expected at the end of January.
I want a toy hauler, but a bit standoffish about the length - will I be any good at maneuvering and what restrictions to boondocking or challenges I should know about?
Thank you for watching! These Brinkleys are built for boondocking! Solar, large capacity fresh water and holding tanks, onboard generator. The G3500 is not that long 40’2”.
We try to depending on where we stay. You can’t beat the price and we always feel secure. If on the road we just use GoodSam to find parks with good overall ratings.
Awesome guys, living the dream I use to ride a motorcycle but I gave that up as I got older, well I should say that my wife doesn't want me to ride anymore since it's crazy with the drivers. I was in the Army for twenty-eight years so what was your MOS? I love your setup it's perfect, when we had a gas motorhome I tow our little Chevy Trailblazer behind it but the wife and I really didn't like it so we trade it in for our 2023 Jayco North Point.
Just saw a video on a Momentum 5th wheel that was having major structural issues with frame flex and walls coming apart because of the frame. It freaked me out and made me reconsider. How are you liking the Brinkley and do you think the quality is better than a Momentum?
We looked at all the major brands including Grand Design. After 14 months of research we ordered our Brinkley. Like all RVs there are going to be things that come up. The difference is Brinkley has really taken care of every issue for us. They didn’t just say “take it to your dealer”. Excellent post purchase customer service. We were most impressed with build quality and fit and finish. The included options couldn’t be beat by another company.
I just recently visited Canyon Lake on my motorcycle Beautiful riding in that area and I found a town Nearby name Wimberley it is a Super cute lil town I suggest you check out Safe travels and from a Veteran. Thank you for your service.
Have you guys been to The Kriver campground in Moyer Oklahoma...that's Adam Sandoval's campground
We have stayed there several times! Adam is a good friend and Jax and I built his sportster dirt bike for him in 2022! The Dirtster!
Awesome
You guys were in our backyard 😊 We live in Flour Bluff. Yes, it is always windy here. But, thats helpful in our 100 degree heat 🥵
@@mitzistanford9201 yes! We were so close! We really like that area of Corpus Christi

@@chasing70degrees23 I ride lots also & really enjoy it. That's why Brinkley Toy-Hauler is on our list.
@@jc525excwe researched toy haulers for 14 months before deciding on the Brinkley. We are so glad we bought this one!

Yeah! Thank you for your service! It was weird because there was a sailor assigned to MWR and all he did was maintenance
To get to mow, you have to get in trouble and hit with extra duty LOL
Hahahahaha

You will love it! We went with the queen bed and nightstands as well. Great choice!
More than likely contracted land scrapers.
Funny enough he was wearing a US Navy uniform. 🤷
CCNAS is an awesome place to visit. I lived on there back in the 90s and got to watch them place the aircraft carrier in the bay for the museum.
We had a great stay there! It was very laid back

Y’all be careful those sand dunes along the beach have lots of rattlesnakes.
I had no idea! Glad we didn’t venture off too far 🐍
Toy haulers rule!
Absolutely!
Do you stay mostly at base famcamps?

I’m blessed my wife loves to ride her own motorcycle! I did 23 years total. I had 2 MOSs 11z and 19Z
