Yes, trained police dogs are invaluable. They are responsible for countless captures of serious criminal. Their is a bond between their human partner and them like no other. Only a dog owner would know the feeling of such a loss. Bruni gave his life doing a dangerous dog.

I can only imagine the heartache, grief, and loss his human partner is experiencing. Dogs bring so much into our lives. I have 2 " Sissy Shih Tzu Ladies" and their "Job" has been to give me joy, laughter, and love for the last ten years! This Canine Officer was called on to do that and so much more for his partner. Your description of Canine Officers and their invaluable contributions was so accurate and as a dog lover ~ I sincerely thank you! Personally, in addition to my 2 Shih Gals I have a chocolate Lady Lab and a black Lady Lab so my household is quite a circus where big and small love abounds! So my heart is touched and saddened by the terrible loss of this exceptional canine. Again, thank you Richard!
