one question tho. What would I need to do if I wanted the lines to be vertical instead of horizontal. I tried exchanging the number of rows and columns and the conectivity of the first grid to "columns" instead of rows" but it's obviosly more complex than that. I'd be lucky. thanks again!
That is really beautiful!!!! Thanks for sharing... But unfortunately, if i follow the tutorial something is not working correctly. Already at 5:34 the silouette lines do not show up as expected. I get some thicker lines, but not in the shape of the silouette and not as fine... I did spend a couple of hours figuring out why, but didn't succeed. I have one step that i don't understand. at 1:28 you add a null to chopto1 and plug it into a geocomp in one step. Maybe that's where the error in my network is... I use a kinect azure instead of a kinect v2, but that shouldnt make a difference i guess. You do not have a tox file that you could share?
@@reflekkt_net Thanks so much - but i did just solve the problem a few hours ago (-: I had the wrong fixed layer on an over top and that messed up everything...
It should not make a difference if you use a video, a kinect recording or a live kinect input. Did you try with a video as input? Maybe the problem is not the kinect, but somewhere else in the network. If you have more information maybe I can help you. Any error messages?
Can't believe how useful Kinect was! Great video. Subscribed.
This was extremely helpful!
thank you so much! greetings from mexico :)

@@TrickWatcher please help how did you solve it?
Nice tutorial! How can I remove the backgroud, so that only the silouette is showing?
you need a kinect, or if on a beefy pc with nvidia you could use the Nvidia background Top
Thank you! :)
Amazing !!!!
Very nice. Thanks!
What if u have the kinnect live and not a video playing? It doesn't show anything to me if I follow those instructions

@@reflekkt_net Only about the resolution. If i use player index there is no image coming from the kinect
Did you checked if everything is fine with Kinect in SDK preview?
Yes it happens to me as well. When I use a live kinect input, it doesn t show anything.

would this work with a video device in or movie file in top?
i’m trying to figure it out now but i’m running into an issue with the grid conforming to the silhouette
Yes but the input video should be the silhouette only, best in black and white.
