THANK YOU!!! For doing this. I have been looking for videos that explain this because I'm new to wigs and tracks. Thank you thank you thank you!!! You have a subscriber for life!
Yes finally someone who does the twists instead of braids. Now I feel confident about being able to get a wig for this winter to cover my twists when I want to go out and dress up.
This was super useful, because I'm at that length where I can now braid my hair down but sectioning it (or keeping it in sections long enough to start braids/twists) can be a little difficult. Thanks!
Wonderful tutorial! I don't wear wigs often, but I cosplay a few times a year. I started transitioning to natural around the same time I started cosplaying, so I've slowly begun to notice that fitting all my kinks into wigs and making my hair lay flat is getting harder. Come my next my next anime con, I'll be sure to follow your tutorial. Thanks for the upload! ^o^
I am new to this natural hair care, though i have been natural for years. I am guilty of neglecting my natural hair and for that I all I got was breakage. Love your videos. Hope to learn some great tips. Just subscribed:)
Your natural hair is so beautiful and thick, love your mane. Thank you for your tutorial, I've tried wrapping my hair under my wigs before, I'm going to try your technique with my new wigs I just purchased. Thanks again.
This was extremely helpful! I am not the best and braiding & I love two strand flat twistouts. I feel that this will be helpful with keeping my twist in for a little longer. Thanks Patricia :-)
thanks for sharing your routine. very simple. I have really think hair and braiding is just too much workout. will try flat twists for my next install. how long do u wear your wigs for?
Hi! I have natural hair, thicker and longer than yours (about 3 times the size) and I want to wear long wigs occasionally to give me a little respite from my beautiful but wild big hair :-) Braids take hours on my hair - especially because I'm not very experienced - so I have found watching this really helpful. I hope it works out for me. Thank you so much Natural Sister, Love from Wales, UK xx
done this work for synthetic wigs for costumes also? i h ave almost the same hair you do if not the same and i was wondering if it would work for hose types of things
Yes! Moisturizing is important. Great video. I never thought about using a cotton tshirt. But I will definitely try it. Can't pass up an opportunity to plug while on here so go to barnes&noble.com and check out my work under Tonya Young #readabook
To be fair, your real hair is not that much . Once your hair is actually really long , I don't think this method would work cos the twists would be too thick due to the leNgth to lie flat enough when you stretch it over and it would be quite bulky. Oh well! ;(

Can you please do a video on wearing a lace front wig for naturals(dos and donts)
Also, what do you put on your scalp to prevent itching??

Will the wigs stay secure while playing sports?
Nice video
does the wig cap dry your hair?
You're pretty
Is there another way without twisting I can't twist....
You can always braid it if that works for you.
Great video! How long do you keep the wig on with the flat twists? Do you redo it every week or will this last for a month????
+Ashley Young It usually will last a month. Thanks for watching!
I can not use hair pins for nothing they always make my head hurt

Wouldn't it be easier not to wear a wig, your real hair looks fine to me.
I love my hair, but I also like changing up my look. Wearing a wig occasionally scratches my itch to change things up. Thanks for watching!
I try to look for 1's for me but wouldn't know where to start.

I was kind of thinking the same, but maybe smaller twists?
i’m having that problem at the moment.. my hair is just at the length where it’s too long to put in braids without it looking overly bulky..
