Sengun is not actually close to mip, but he did deserve his all star buzz. He was playing great since the second half of last season, after he got over the hump with his poor conditioning. This season he started close to where he left off, then started to struggle after teams adjusted to him. And recently he seems like he is getting used to the added attention. And is getting back to himself.
For me the most important thing is Alperen never gives up although he was rejected couple of times by Wembayama. He continued to attack the rim. That is very critical.
The all-stars will come. He has been improving so fast to start his career. It reminds me of how Capella rapidly became a great player for us. Sengun has more offensive potential then Capella and I think he will be a 25-28ppg guy maybe as soon as next year
