This is part two of the process where I discuss what's involved and how I came to work with glass as a medium in my career as a professional artist. The plan is to have the sculpture completed in time for Easter Sunday 2020 (next week!).
This sculpture will be made over the course of a week, during which time I'll aim to put a few videos out...this is part 2.

Everyone has taken all the adjectives I wanted to use about this piece of art,! I will say it strikes me with the same beauty of the blue ice in glaciers. You’re an artist obviously, but what struck me watching you create this is what a genius you are too. The way your mind clicks - amazing.

Hey James for the next time you can use kerosene on your cut and after you tap make one relief cut tap that then you use a blow torch around the circle and watch the glass separate on its on try it...
@@edgargenius7957 You can also just beat it with a hammer. I'm still waiting for the Chinese sellers on Ebay to get into the fine art market. Anything you can do they can do for cheap.

The egg looks like it is an ice blue diamond, it sparkles beautifully when the light hits it. It's just a beautiful piece!

Как стеклорез ходит по кругу , как как правильно откалываются заготовки . Так всё чётко . Не то что у меня нитка возьмёт и закрутился . А ещё я пыталась вырезать стекло по прямой линии , и оно у меня ровно не откололось . Вот так .завтра обязательно посмотрю ещё одну твою работу сегодня уже поздно , утром рано вставать на работу . All the pieces are straight off to Buckingham. That's the only place that can afford them.
This was so calming to watch, I can only imagine the views in person I'm sure the camera doesn't do it justice. Your next piece should be a cow hoof for Graeme this way he can stop pestering you and his viewers haha.

I can imagine this in the corner of a dimly lit room like a den or study. With a subtle L. E. D. In the base filling it with soft light from with in. Could even change colors if you like that kind of thing.
But in my vision nothing to bright. Just want it to shine and light up all those cracks!

As sunlight hits each broken surfaces it comes alive with so many of shades of green and aqua perfectly capturing the effect of cascading water. It is a work of art and you are a very rare talent.

Thanks Tammy. There are various things that can be used to bond glass. This particular adhesive is 'classified' I'm afraid. I hope you understand. It took years to figure out.

This egg is absolutely gorgeous! You have some mad skills to be able to accomplish something that looks that good!! It's just mindblowing what some people can craft with just their hands, a few tools, & the subject matter. I admire your talents & patience that make everything fit together beautifully. These are so beautiful! I have a cousin who used to make glass sculptures like this 20-30 years ago. My mom got one that makes me think about a glacier with a frozen waterfall.
