Hey Arktix, I just wanna say, don't fall into this narrative of "it feels cheap" when using summons. One thing about fromsoft elitists is that they are never satisfied. Even if you didn't use summons, there will be people who will complain about you using a bleed weapon which they will also call cheap. If you switch bloodhound fang with a straight sword without infusion and beat Margit, they will say "big deal, beating him on rl1 is the real test". If you beat him on rl1, they will say "big deal, beating him with fists only is the real test".
These people put arbitrary restrictions on themselves and then complain when others don't follow their personal restrictions

Hey thanks! Yeah I’m definitely not thinking like that. I don’t like when people get elitist about games. I guess I just made that comment because I felt like I was close to getting him without the summon. I think the summons are totally fine. They’re part of the game, so no one can say they’re “cheating” or anything like that.
