John, please know that what you do here implants healing, strength, peace, and joy to those lucky enough to encounter you.
With gratitude, from a 58yo asthmatic caring for a 90yo with dementia in Maryland.

Thank you for the kind words and encouragement! And thank you for what you’re doing. I know how devastating dementia can be. Keep taking care of yourself.

"If you get distracted, it's totally ok. And, here's the good news- when you realize you're distracted, you're actually back in the present moment. So congratulate yourself! And focus back on your breath as your anchor."
    THIS. YES.
I used to, and still sometimes do get discouraged when I feel like my mind is wandering during a meditation. 'This isn't working' or 'I'm not doing it right' thoughts come to mind. But if I congratulate myself just for realizing I'm not in the present, that puts me back INTO the present. So simple when you think about it! Awesome.
    Thank you again, John :)

Yes!!! I always get distracted when meditating and this is how I return to purpose. Glad it resonates with you.

As a longtime subscriber I really appreciate you created this meditation, and even if it's called "for beginners" I found something new in it and it was a wonderful session overall. Thanks man.

Hey John I love your meditations.
Is it possible for you to remake your 10 Minute Meditations that are on Goodful’s channel, but without music in the background? I’ve noticed that soft waves and bird chirping (like the video before this) are unusually calming, and the music just won’t do it for me

Hey there, thanks so much for the kind words. But unfortunately not - those vids are licensed to Goodful and can’t be duplicated. But there are plenty of other vids on my channel to enjoy :)
