      Dr. Bryan Roche, one of the creators of SMART (Strengthening your Mental Abilities with Relational Training), made a comparison. He said that attempting to enhance intelligence using the methods you mentioned is similar to a pianist doing finger strength exercises to become a better pianist. In this scenario, the improvements would likely be minimal. Roche suggests that a pianist should concentrate on mastering the inner workings of a piano to the point where it becomes second nature, much like muscle memory. He draws a parallel between this and training relational reasoning. Do you agree with this analogy? Why or why not?

      You need prepare to college, study. I don't think using Q-n-Back is useless. But you need years of training to get effect. I think more things can increase your IQ, if you will study hard it also will increase your intelligence, you will get experience and skills. N-back just a way very easy tense you brain very hard. You don't need do PhD, don't need study new language very hard, no need to find very hard math problems and no need to learn theory for them, just use n-back and you have very hard training.
      Quad will eat you brain energy, focus. Better spend this energy on study, then study in college, university, then on work to take better position. And may be latter, if don't know to else do, go do n-back.

    • @JaydenMuckley
      @JaydenMuckley 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      From my own experience, brain training is most effective when used a supplement for learning. I'd recommend you just do 30ish minutes every other day or every day, and study, or read in your free time to maximize your gains in the most efficient way possible. But don't full send either.

    Hello! I am 16 years old and attend a medical school. In our psychology class, we discussed IQ development, touching on how it is influenced by parental potential. I recently took over 30 online IQ tests and scored below 120 only the Bright website, which is concerning. I saw your proof of IQ development and am curious about how games, specifically those improving memory, contribute to it. Jordan Peterson claims that IQ is entirely genetic, dismissing the value of brain games. Do you disagree with him, and can you suggest anything other than games like dual n-back or quad-n back to increase IQ by 10 points? I would appreciate guidance on the time needed. Also can you somehow argument that your pattern recognition can increase,and that Peterson is wrong,and if you can also say how much time i need to increase iq by 10-15,i am just not sure that games like those increase pattern reco. but if you ask me it definetly lifts your full scale iq,thank you for your time,if you can give me all those answers i would me the happiest person in the world

    • @InfiniteIQ
      @InfiniteIQ  ปีที่แล้ว

      There are very limited studies on brain training, that is why academics such as Peterson cannot see it, science hasn't caught up to what we know

      nothing is permanent no matter your genetics, I was lucky enough to consistently have stimulating activity during my very early life and managed to become somewhat gifted, very sharp and quick witted. I had a period in my life where I was somewhat isolated and had little to no stimulation for my mind, not even people to talk to for the most part, my brain basically deteriorated and I was an idiot for a decent amount of time. same thing goes for muscles, many very physically gifted bodybuilders (even the ones that are natural) have let themselves go and their bodies slowly turned into average or even below average ones.

    I find your content pretty interesting but I do doubt the validity of the claim that higher IQ necessarily translates into more money. The reason being that while IQ has persisted as an intelligence measure, studies conducted suggest no significant monetary gains when comparing people in the 160's ranges to the 130's. I dont want to argue here about the scope of validity that iq tests can provide, or to be more precise, an improved working memory in your case. However, i do believe that there is no 100% linear correlation between iq and money. Meaning, you may want to focus on other factors of the mind rather than just IQ. Unfortunately, intelligence research has not improved significantly in terms of coming up with novel models. Tehrefore, one is bound to subjectively assess the validity of claims regarding improvements in other types of 'intelligences'.

    • @InfiniteIQ
      @InfiniteIQ  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Increasing intelligence of course guarantees nothing in terms of financial success, but it does increase your potential
      Most people don't tap into their potential, I am not one of those people

    • @alexm7202
      @alexm7202 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@InfiniteIQ Regarding the discussion on IQ, there's a possibility that diversifying into other aspects could be more beneficial than solely focusing on IQ. Beyond a certain point, investing in forms of intelligence like emotional intelligence may offer a higher return on investment.
      Puzzles and Independent Problem-Solving:
      "Additionally, in response to your mention of improvements, considering puzzles and independent problem-solving could potantially be more impactful. Take chess, for example. Grandmasters approach the game in a vastly different manner than average players. Average individuals often make errors due to hasty decision-making without thorough analysis. Encouraging rigorous and thoughtful thinking, especially through puzzles, may have a considerable impact on overall intelligence. That is, average players do not properly 'stretch' their mental muscles. Happens all the time in the gym.
