Everyone will struggle with these. It’s human nature to exhibit anxiety, stress, temporary hopelessness etc. Allah put these emotions etc in humans as alarms for us to know when we need to mk a shift. Don’t get down on yourself if you fit one of these categories. Just keep trying.. forever. ❤

subhaAllah may Allah reward this sheikh, sometimes all it takes is an eloquent reminder like this to put someone back towards the path of goodness. Personally, I have been facing a difficulty that initially brought me towards Allah but subhaAllah it's been about 5-6 years since it started and I find it trying to take a hold of me. May Allah ease the suffering of all the muslimeen and help us to pass our tests with sabr and shukr as is the example of our prophet (saw) Ameen.
You can truly encompass the deeper meaning of this message when you've experienced such ups and downs in life and to see how one reacts to it. A self reflection to your own reactions and to align yourself accordingly if not already.
The human being is a creation with both fragility and incredible strength. There will be times when you are strong and can endure just about anything, and there will be times when you are weak and need rest. It's healthy to have a balance and work with yourself, never against yourself. Work hard, but give your soul time to recuperate too. Don't criticize your wife. Don't put her down regarding her physical appearance or her actions, For verily the messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم of Allāh didn't do this. It is from the wisdom of Allāh سبحانه وتعالى that he blessed you with such a woman, So treat her well.. Don't criticize her looks.. Allāh سبحانه وتعالى created her that way. If u are married to her, Respect her and do not belittle her, Looking Down upon her will never bring you close. Furthermore, there is an outright Prohibition regarding this. The prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "Do not criticize her"
I didn't know Jibraeel (A.S) threw sand in Pharon's mouth to silence him so Allah's mercy won't descend upon him 😅 that was awesome to hear. This is a great video, love how you share multiple perspectives (this is something I do when I'm trying to understand and empathise) and ask us to take a look at how we remember Allah. Alhumdulillah ala kulli haal! I took 2 pages of notes and only wrote down the 4th category as I find myself identifying with this one or atleast trying really hard to fall into this category, its tough as I used to be someone who would only remember Allah during hardship, now I look at the silver lining through whatever He puts in my path. JazakhAllah Khair for the work you do for the ummah.
@@keke3897 I try to write them down in bullet points, like if there's a topic he speaks of, then the points to go with it, I also write some things he says in my own words so I can remember it and go back and refer to it. Whatever stands out to you write it down. You can use two coloured pens, one to highlight important words. Hope that helps 😊
No. As long as you're alive to grow & do better, then it's never over. Allah is merciful & forgiving. Sheikh is just giving us things to keep in mind & examine yourself with. ✌🏾
No its not, a lot of people don't seem to remember Allah during good times and sometimes Allah gives us hardship so we can come back to Him. You can always work your way up to thanking Allah for every condition and that comes from building your relationship with Allah. In the case with Pharon he denied Allah during his reign and when calamity befell him when he knew he was for sure going to die it's when he decided to call on Allah.

They were afflicted with suffering and adversity, and were so shaken in spirit that even the Messenger and those who believed along with him said, “When will the help of Allah come?” [Qur’an, 2:214] 4 remember that this dunya was made to test us.
