It’s so good to know that both of you are doing well. Sometimes weird things happen , and I don’t think that there is such a thing as a “textbook” pregnancy. I’ll bet that it was very comforting to have your Mom there because she’s so experienced.
Hi Charity! I’m so glad that you and Katelyn are doing good and no complications that would have caused a hospital delivery. I’m sure the family is still on cloud nine. I hope everyone has a blessed evening!
Breastfeeding can be so hard at the beginning! You’re doing such an amazing job! Katelyn, you are beautiful! So alert looking so intently to the side ❤
She certainly found something to focus on! An absolute doll! I'm happy the breastfeeding got sorted. My son was never able to latch, but he got fed, and that's what was important. It did take a bit for me to get over the disappointment.
I admire you having your baby at home. If you were in the hospital, you probably would not have known any of the details about your placenta etc. I remember asking to see my placenta with my first baby (in the hospital) and the doctor was taken aback that I asked that and just kinda barely held it up for a split second. If I could do it all again, I think I would like to have a midwife deliver my babies in a hybrid hospital setting. With my second pregnancy, the placenta did not detach and had to be detached manually, and I lost a lot of blood. I think I would have been very scared being at home in that situation. Congratulations on the birth of sweet Katelyn. She shares my birthday!
I’m glad you’re both doing well now! I’m super glad you didn’t tear a bunch! I did and is why I only have one child! I was one and done didn’t want that to happen again! Enjoy all the baby snuggles!
@@MyFavoriteColorIsBLUE people like me?! I ask a question that was it! Do you belong to the woke crowd that gets their feelings hurt for asking a simple question?

Such an amazing story Charity…thanking for sharing your experience and your special times…I still think giving birth is almost magical! Blessings 👋🇨🇦
You must have planned to do a home delivery, Charity! My daughter had a home delivery, too! She had a water delivery. That was so amazing of you!! ❤
Your doing great. Every day is different. ❤
Congratulations ❤
Har far along were you when she was born? Might of missed it ❤
I was 39 weeks 4 days
❤❤❤❤
Is the baby crying, why aren’t you picking her up?
I had just pulled her to bed and she was fussy that I put her down. I did pick her up though after she wasn't going to sleep.
Charity knows how to take care of her baby.
@@MyFavoriteColorIsBLUE I didn’t say she didn’t a little moody today are we?
Actually No, but people like you are trying to tell her how to take care of her own child. " Why aren't you picking her up? "

As much as I admire midwifery, I firmly believe that babies in utero need physican care and monitoring. You were very lucky this time. ⚖️🩺👶🏻
Actually in the uk we are midwife led almost completely unless you have 5 plus children and it’s very successful 😊
