    I'm glad he named Lupe Fiasco because he's definitely one of the greats in hip-hop and deserves more respect for what he's added to the culture. Lupe has always been consistent with spreading a positive message and he's an amazing storyteller.

      As someone who has listened to almost every song released and unreleased that 2Pac has done, I have to disagree. Pre-death row you might be right, but most of his death row catalog was straight up gangsta rap and can’t be responsibly defended. I know he made a number of songs with a positive, uplifting message from death row era (“One Day At A Time”, “Baby Don’t Cry”, “Letter 2 My Unborn”, “The Good Die Young” etc.) but majority of it was profane and degenerate. TBH Pac going to DR and Suge Knight ultimately brought out the worst in him, tho he reached the highest level of success career wise.

      Or "Your mouth got you in it" where Nas raps *"white stocking cap on my face pulled down, from behind all you hear is a gun cock sound and now, I put it on ya mouth, fuck you was sayin', suck on this you trick, try to duck and I'm sprayin'"*

      @DJCalimovement 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MR12AMAZING Who would consider Pac or anyone to be a saint? By him rapping about the violence and misogyny which surrounded communities like my own it allowed his uplifting messages to get through. At a teenager all I knew was what I saw within a 40 mile radius. That is why when I was a teenager and living like an idiot it struck me when Pac said things like "Do what you gotta do but know you gotta change try to find a way to make it out the game". The only way that sentence reached me is because I perceived Pac as someone that represented me and my living environment thus there was a sense of authenticity. I loved listening to the violent and misogynistic tracks because that is what I could relate to at the time and in turn the positive message reached me as well. If Pac had only rapped positivity I would have dismissed him completely at that time. Pac rapping about misogyny and violence may just be a song to you but it was real life environment for some of us. When you are young you need someone to relate to before you can take what they say seriously. You evolve as you get older thus looking back on who I was an a teenager now make me squirm and I have a sense of guilt for not figuring things out sooner. But at that time and in the hell I was living Pac was able to reach me in a way no one else really could.

      True, but that don't mean he had to rap about some of the things he rapped about. Or said certain things or did certain things that was opposite of the image he wanted to create. Plenty of artists faced hard times. Its how you choose to deal with them and move forward. He was very intelligent from everything I've seen, but he did some very stupid and reckless things. Pac was unfortunately just as much the cause of his death as other outside forces, and people hate to admit that. Pac even said it himself ive been dropping consciousness for years but nobody cared until he got to death row and started talking crazy.. I think the fans need to be more responsible for what they buy.. and fffff jay z, no respect for how he sabotaged DMX.

You can’t change what got you where you are now. You got to meet people where they are you can’t force change on nobody who ain’t ready for that. Especially someone stuck with a survival mindset.
