Tom, I really like the Lexus NX 350. Wish this car came in Sports Luxury. Based on the specifications, would it be correct to say the service cost over a period of 5 years will vary between all the models after taking into consideration engine, drive train and functionality? Will the service costs between these variants be similar or costlier over a period of five years?
@@protomatala180 Lexus NX is more comfortable and spacious compared to IS. It all depends on personal preference, actually. IS has been discontinued in Australia. Its either NX or ES. Both are comfortable and beautiful to drive.

Great review Tom, as usual. I completely agree about the AWD hybrid at 18:55 with the boost from the rear. With the traction view on the centre display you can see the rear motor engaged every time you move away from a stop. Certainly that’s my experience. Interesting that the Lexus has a handy power boost over the RAV. It would be great to have that extra sound deadening in the RAV.
I really like Lexus' current and most precious designs. I'm really looking forward to see how these evolved. I'm a sucker for interesting LED signatures.
just ordered 350h 2wd sport luxury. Dealer told me that the delivery time will be 5-7 months. by compere both f sport and sport luxury, i chose sport luxury as my wife will be main driver for this car. we not doing any off road, so 2 wd is more than enough for us. Too bad that you need AWD to get package. and do not want spend 5k for awd plus 3 another 3k for moon roof.
What a fantastic review, Tom! Spot on as always. The Lexus 350h 2WD Sports Luxury is a superb vehicle and lets be honest, Lexus has done its home work with regards to car exterior and interior. Compared to the other rivals, I expect at a price of $83,398 DA, the sports luxury is fantastic value for money. I am completely sold on the new Lexus NX. What a beautiful car and with a Lexus, there is always peace of mind and reliabilty is certain. Tom, how about a comparison between NX350H and GV70 both top SPECS?

Head and shoulders better than all other reviews taken at same venue. Tom, love your approach in terms of explaining the variants and which may suit particular buyers. For me the Mark Levinson audio and cooled seats are mandatory. Hard to pick between NX350 F-Sport (with EP2) and NX350H AWD F-Sport (with EP2), as only a couple of hundred dollars separates them
Test drove the 350h , loved it but got told 2 year wait and does not lock in price even if we sign the contract today. Sadly we walked away and the shopping continues
Regarding the interior space, I haven't sat in the NX yet, but I have read on social networks that the space is lacking for really tall people in the front seats. Me being 195cm (6'5'') tall, I'm interested in whether it's true, do you have a really tall person that have tried the seating in the new NX?
I think Lexus have nailed the design of the nx....It looks great both inside and out. Unfortunately in NZ the nz350h starts from 92k.....if you want a luxury version its north of 100k. I wonder if a topspec rav4 hybrid for 52k and a couple of thousand dollars spent on retrofitting insulation would be a good idea? oh and a delivery wait time of 1 to 2 years lol
The prices showed in this video doesn’t include the on-road cost so just add another $10k on top of it. It’s price has jumped up significantly for Australia too.
Great review. Not having seen your review, I went on to buy a NX250 with a little push from my son who wanted me to buy a luxury car have come to the end of my working career, but found it needs extra rev to keep going as you mention. Fully concur with your comment. I had moved for VW Golf with a turbo engine to this (NX 250) and certainly noted the difference. As you said the NX350h seem the best having done a test drive. Now having already bought the NX250 , I went on to book the 350h, 2WD with trade in of the NX250 which I must say is a great car and it is one you get used to after a few thousand Km. The AWD was too pricey for me. Thanks again for great review on the NX. Will add my comments after I get my NX350h, 2WD!
Great review as always. Like the look of the NX exterior and interior. I've owned 5 Lexus in the past. Decided to give GLC a try and now GV70 3.5T since January. Hope to back to Lexus at some point.
I think Tom mixed up the seats as for their material. As I know, the F Sport seats are made out of Lexue NuLuxe, and cars with top of the line Luxury trim, with non-F-sport seats are covered with genuine leather. Both being cooled and heated.
@@chasingcars even better then. I thought F-Sport Seats were part leather, part NuLuxe, while sports luxury seats are full leather. Nevertheless both are of good quality, so nothing to be too picky about.
Great review! From USA, your review is just more detailed, insightful and not just to see if it can spins the wheels or how fast from 0-60 MPH. Luckily the models options are similar. Put a deposit down on a 350h Luxury for exactly your reason. Passed on the 450h+ and the 350t because of low MPG. I will be very interested in your review on it. And if I understood correctly, I have the same problem in USA, one can not get the smaller18in wheels with higher trims and options like ML sound, 3 beam headlights, etc.
*~*~*~ Do your Homework before ignorant comments!....~*~*~* " Passed on the 450h+ and the 350t because of low MPG"... I own a 450h+ F Sport, and the rating is 89 miles per gal in Hybrid mode...and uses 87 octane regular gas, .......HOWEVER....I have only used 2 .5 Gal of gas on my more than 2800 miles because back and forth to work is 11 miles each way & I simply plug in the car to 120 V home outlet..........Virtually No Gas used and accordingly VERY quiet / almost silent noise in cabin combined with Very Quick acceleration via electric Only / torque and Quick! ..............Can only get this model in California and Re-Sale Value is through the roof If you can even find one and you must be a California resident to buy the 450h+ Plug in model.
I presume you passed on the 450h+ due to low MPG when the HV battery is depleted? Yes that would be a concern because the ICE is then lugging around the extra weight. It’s ideal for regular short commutes however. If you often drive longer distances, the 350h would be better overall IMO too.
Great review Tom, been hanging out for this since your post dinner walk around last year. Have a 450h on order so keen for Friday's video. Are you able to demo the digital rearview mirror and what the buttons underneath are? In us models they are garage door openers so wondering if they kept them for Aus model. Hoping the wireless aa will only be a short wait for an OTA update. Also been waiting for budget direct to add this to their insurance coverage on the webpage so can get a decent quote.
They can update the system to wireless Carplay/aa on the 450h? Just got a new 450h few weeks ago and it's wired. I asked the dealer at the time and he said it may come as an update but I took that as marketing nonsense. Surely it would need an inbuilt transceiver or whatever. I was going to look for an adapter or something. Would be great if they had possibility of updating as it's the only thing I feel I don't have, otherwise amazing vehicle.
@@ln5747 in Australia? What was your build month? The receiver is almost certainly already in the car it just needs the new OS update to enable it which can be done as an over the air update.
@@fashiznit123 nope UK. Ordered it about August, finally arrived in January. Apparently there was a minor refresh just after I ordered and I got the first of those, forgot to ask the dealer what was updated. I was hoping wireless Carplay but I actually haven't used it yet and assumed it was still not wireless. Would be great if it arrives and its not a matter of waiting a few years to get the next gen. Everyone complains about the infotainment but to me it's perfectly fine, perhaps a little clunky. I actually think the current RX infotainment looks classier than the new NX, I like the traditional buttons etc and the large screen on NX looks a bit cheap to me.
Thanks Tom and the team at chasingcars for the amazing review, cheers for answering my Qn RE: adaptive variable suspension (F-sport vs. Sports Luxury). I ordered a 350h AWD Sports Luxury way back at the start of August ‘21 for the 14” screen, natural leather interior, seat cooling, wood inserts and most importantly Mark Levinson system (and my wife was either Khaki Green with Hazel/tan interior or nothing). Receiving the car end of Feb ‘22 and pretty excited!
Picking up a 350h sports luxury tomorrow. Wanted the 450 but needed a car asap. May trade up sooner rather than later. Was about to buy an Audi Q5 but this drove better, felt more solid and better built than the Audi, was also cheaper.
Thanks for addressing real world questions and a very good review. Looking forward to the 450h+ review. It may make or break my current order 😳. Though I also have a XC60 Recharge on order so, it will be one or the other. The head says buy the Lexus (Service, reliability etc..) the heart says buy the Volvo ( Design, power, Air Suspension etc..). What would you buy Tom?
@chasing cars . To follow up - I drove the 450h+ and it just didn’t feel cohesive or special for the price. Part of this is the psychology of paying for the highest price vehicle but getting the lowest spec sound system and small sun/moon roof. As an ex Lexus owner they are great and the service is second to none, but IMHO the package just isn’t worth the cash. I have decided to buy the XC60 as it’s a better overall proposition. FYI - I am in Australia and thanks for the great reviews.
I’ve ordered a 350h 2wd sports luxury a few weeks ago and was advised I’m looking at start of 2023 timeframe! Pretty inconsistent with the 4 months you were told. This was Lexus of Perth.
Wooooah! Thats a very very long wait. I ordered mine thru a Sydney dealer, only a 5 month wait for mine. Hopefully WA can improve in next month or so, all the best.
@@chriscommodore8733 thanks, hopefully the salesman I got just has no idea or is being ultra conservative. I’d be surprised if there was such a big difference between dealers, unless one had a disproportionate amount of orders
@@killerteapot89 you'd be surprised the difference a GOOD dealer can do. Mate of mine just ordered a Corolla Hybrid from Sydney City Toyota, 5 months til he collects. He asked two other Toyota dealers in Sydney, and their wait time both exceeded 7 months! So pays to try other dealerships if you have options. Take care
Does the 350h continuously take the regular 87 octane gas without damaging the engine ? i am torn between the 250 & 350h. My concern is about the gas octane rating. Thank you
Thanks for the great review. After a lot of research, I had settled on the NX 350H. Unfortunately, Lexus Australia now has a 2 year wait for new NX orders. The dealership I spoke to in Sydney said 2021 orders were still not fulfilled. Poor form by Lexus.
I have driven the 350 FSport (petrol). Very capable handling, took bumps well and didn't feel like a boat when push through corners. Brake feel was solid no fade issues. I'd like to see how the non FSport without adaptive dampers would drives like. Also the FSport has run flat tyres which seem odd, as this tyre is heavier than standard. Also the cooling seats fan has a whiny noise, it's not major but definitely noticeable. When idle you can hear it and it's right behind/below your ears...
Another solid review, thanks Tom. I just ordered my 350H AWD last week however there is quite a lengthy wait time (I was told 5-6 months by the dealer). I understand Lexus provides 10 years on their batteries. Is it true those batteries will need to be replaced every 4-5 yrs? and this could cost a fortune? I’m planning on holding onto my NX for around 4 yrs. Give or take I initially had my eyes on the NX350. However. it is a pity they only come in the F-Sports which is roughly $10k above the luxury trim. I have found the hybrid (in AWD) to be responsive and agile enough during my test drive. I’ve taken it for a good spin on the highways as well as the suburban roads. As this will be my first hybrid, I’m really hoping I have made the right move transitioning into the hybrid land. I mainly do highway driving so I might not see that level of fuel efficiency when compared with city driving and the endless start and stop traffic during peak hour. I’m saying that, I’m really looking forward to see how the hybrids performs in the country roads (where I’m based) Thanks again for the great review Tom!
Congratulations! Bought one today as well. And now begins the waiting game (4-6 months). No issues with the batteries as such with 350H. Very reliable and powerful batteries.
Great work Tom! Why still no 40/20/40 split rear seats, and that cheap arse rear centre armrest? My 2006 RX350 has 40/20/40 split and an awesome rear armrest with a storage compartment. Kids love it!
Ordered my NX350H AWD 3 weeks back, June 22 delivery. Am sure the wait will b MORE than worth it. Been hanging out for this since August last year. My current 2017 NX300H 2WD has been a great car.
@@chriscommodore8733 Hey Chris, I was thinking of rocking up to the dealership in Chatswood over the weekends. If you don't mind, what was your drive away price? Were they able to strike up some discounts for you? Cheers mate.
@@calvingoh50 with absolute due respect, I am not inclined to provide this information. My suggestion? Talk calmly and do your homework on EXACTLY what you want before approaching. This will be my third purchase from the dealer, and on each occasion I found the above strategy and respect to the sales team enabled a very satisfactory result. Cheers, good luck.
This is such a different take to Carsguide. They said it was similarly loud to the rav, raucous engine, stiff. I’m very torn. I suppose the only solution is to plod off to a test drive.
It is possible their journalist drove different specifications. I spent most of my time in the adaptively-damped F Sport seen here, and the chunky-tyred Luxury, both of which were not ‘stiff’. Possibly unlike their journo I’ve also lived with a RAV4 hybrid for 6 months so I’m pretty acquainted with how noisy that car is.

Tom, great review as always. I test drove the 350h front wheel drive F Sport & the wife & I loved it. Considering the AWD for the extra 5K. What I would like to mention & maybe for you to include in the cost of ownership is the tyres especially the 235/50R/20 alenza’s. I have enquired with Bridgestone & other tyre suppliers & this tyre to date has not been released in Australia as yet. The only tyre that suits is the Pirelli P Zero at $594/tyre. Being RFT getting a puncture this of course needs to be replaced & cannot be repaired so I thought I needed to look into this further as a cost to consider. Thanks again for your reviews as I find them always informative & engaging 👌
I like Lexus exterior and interior except the how they set up the dash- the screen is like an afterthought, “let’s stick a big screen here”. They should make the whole front dash to look they are made on purpose, this one looks like an old dash with pasted on stuff.
Thorough and articulate review as usual. Can I ask you, Tom, having driven both the 350H and 450H+, do you feel the 350H is better value for money (all things considered). Many thanks
Absolutely. For the price of $67k F sport top of the line NX might as well hop over to the 350/450 of your choice. Unless you don't mind having a smaller SUV. But resale value the 350/450 would come back at you better. Pro tip. Keep ALL repair paperwork and repair receipt for the vehicle. A paper trail. Resale value is better by $2k at least. Worth it.
Thanks for the great review, as always. I'd be really interested to hear whether the 450h+ will be getting the pano sunroof and Mark Levinson in the future, or whether these features are going to be permanently unavailable.
Its a shame, ive got a 2018 Lexus nx f-sport with all the enhancement packs incl. mark levinson. i was going to head towards the PHEV but finding that out might be a real killer for me. you dont want to spend $100k on a car without premium sounds in my opinion. i would be interested to see if the 350h is more frugal then my 2018, it used to sit on about 6.8L as i did alot of highway driving....
Great review Tom. Was wondering if it would be possible for someone to do a review on the 2022 Honda Accord 2.0l Hybrid, as an alternative to a Suv Hybrid? If Honda's Hybrid system is as good as Toyota's? Is the 2.0l hybrid worth the extra spend? Thanks
Really considering the 350h but in South Africa they are like hen's teeth - literally bringing in 5 at a time which are pre-sold. Fortunately I have 12 months before I purchase so no urgency. I'm torn between the new GLC or NX... Any views would be welcome🙏
I think 350h is the pick of the range . PHEV 450 + not going to be as fun to drive due to it’s extra weight . I personally think you should go hybrid or full electric .. Phev is bit of a gimmick
sold my 350nx hybrid after 18 months driving 27k. Biggest disappointment was the thrashy engine and jarring drive over uneven and pot holes. Good experience but wont be buying another CVT again. Good fuel economy and comfortable interior.
Thank you for a very good review. But why would anyone who lives out of a large city buy a car that does not have some type of spare tire. When I was watching your presentation I thought this car may be our next second car. But, no spare no buy. A simple flat in a country area can turn into a nightmare I don't want.
The Lexus NX competes in the Compact Premium SUV segment. According to data collected from verified new-vehicle buyers for the J.D. Power 2021 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study, 59 percent of new Lexus NX buyers are female (vs. 47 percent for the segment), and the median age of an NX buyer is 61 years (vs. 60).
I finally took delivery of my nx350h fsport enhancement pack 2 in the Kahki Metal with full black interior & what a beautiful machine. Here's my thoughts. The engine wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding, but that's not what I expected. The fitout was surprisingly cheap for a 100+k car but still better than anything out of Europe. The tech is fantastic, the steering wheel controls take some getting used to & as long as you set things up before you go every single time when changing drivers its a right royal pain in the arse. The change from electric to ICE is barely if at all noticeable. So far my wife & I are averaging 5.6 litres/100 & that's incredible. Considering how my wife drives bullet like of the lights & no matter who lays claim to being the latest braker, they haven't come up against my wife. My seat has a ridge in it where my butt cheeks hang onto the seat. The lexus app can be a bloody nuisance if you don't turn off all the notifications. Having said all that we love it, it's super quiet even on the run flats, which I will keep. If i wanted perfection, I'm in the southern end of that millionaire club by a country mile.
It seems some manufacturers are sh****ng on the Australian market with some of these missing features at stupid prices, yet they are available in overseas markets
3000 was a third of overall Lexus sales for 2021? I'm surprised as 10k isn't really much. I thought Lexus would have sold more than that. Apparently not.
I am considering the new NX and ventilated seats are non-negotiable 😆 Finally Lexus has done all the right things in the interior. But in NZ we get only NX 350h upwards starting from 92,700+ Just starting to research what else is out there for that money.
I care about height and entry/exit. SUVs are increasingly lowering the roof level for the sake of fuel efficiency, so it starts to feel more like a station wagon than an SUV, which defeats the purpose. I like the NX but it looks like you have to squeeze yourself through the doorway to get in and out of it.
A good review as always but there are quite a number of options available within each model and purchasers will have to do their homework. You talk a lot about comfort but does it handle like a X3 which has both comfort and handling? It has been reported that the engines, particularly the base 250, are coarse and unrefined. It appears that Lexus still have a long way to go to match the performance, economy and engineering of the Europeans. To not have wireless Apple Car Play after all these years is a definite negative. Steeply rising prices (not the only manufacturer) is going to test the resolve of many potential buyers.
Hmmmmmmmm? X3 Beeeeeeemer........" X3 which has both comfort and handling " X3 may have a slight edge in being a bit quicker,,,,however it has to be quick to get you to the shop for repairs and home again repeatedly...These are SUV's not Ferrari's..........450h+ is Plenty quick with Elec and engine believe me
For me Lexus has been about comfortable quiet, high build quality and luxury materials cars. Unfortunately a bunch of journalists told the owner of Lexus his cars were boring to look and drive and so this what we now have: A base "luxury" model that rides the best but lacks premium materials and luxury features, an F-sport that has the most advanced suspension but rides on massive wheels and run-flats that undo the ride quality, and a Sports Luxury that gives you the luxury but rides the worst of all 3 models. Oh and the hideous spindle grill, I won't go there.
@@kuldipsingh366 No. The Sports Luxury has the same suspension as the entry level Luxury and it also has the 20 inch wheels- the worst of both worlds. Its supposed to be the range topper. The F Sport would be the one I would get if they let you spec the 18 inch wheels from the Luxury. But then you miss out on the Mark Levinson sound..sigh.

Will add my comments after I get my NX350h, 2WD!
I’m getting my NX350h Redline, Palomino interior Premium package in 2 months. Can’t wait to have it.
No, not mistaken. Both F Sport and Sports Luxury have leather-accented seats.
@@chasingcars even better then. I thought F-Sport Seats were part leather, part NuLuxe, while sports luxury seats are full leather. Nevertheless both are of good quality, so nothing to be too picky about.
Thanks Tom for a very good review, this vehicle is one of the vehicle's i am considering to buy.
Imagine the 2.4T in a Rav4. That’d be a sight.
Thanks Mate great review once again...👍
@@ln5747 hi,planning to get 450 too, how much was the actual vehicle mettalic paint before cost and tax? Thanks
@@raysap9019 whole vehicle was £60k including tax, top spec with about £1k extras.
What is the general feeling regarding run flat tyres with no spare. Are they absolutely necessary considering the extra cost?
Thanks Tom and the team at chasingcars for the amazing review, cheers for answering my Qn RE: adaptive variable suspension (F-sport vs. Sports Luxury).
I ordered a 350h AWD Sports Luxury way back at the start of August ‘21 for the 14” screen, natural leather interior, seat cooling, wood inserts and most importantly Mark Levinson system (and my wife was either Khaki Green with Hazel/tan interior or nothing).
Receiving the car end of Feb ‘22 and pretty excited!
Nice one. How much did you pay
@@Hazza188 Hi Hazza I paid just under 88.5K for it!
@@THEAC83 hey thanks for the reply! I believe the luxury grade has Nulux/fake leather but the sports luxury grade has natural/genuine leather trim
Picking up a 350h sports luxury tomorrow. Wanted the 450 but needed a car asap. May trade up sooner rather than later. Was about to buy an Audi Q5 but this drove better, felt more solid and better built than the Audi, was also cheaper.
Nice one. Mind sharing how much you paid?
I have seen a brand new NX is going in a suburb in Brisbane. That car was white and looked decent.
Thank you
What buttons are on the steering wheel on non HUD models?
How does it compare to Genesis GV70 ?
Good question - I’d like to know as well
great vid. thanks. it was very informative
Thank you!
Thanks something to listen too. But for $67k that's not working for my budget. Lol.
The entire range has the run flat tyres unfortunately
Another solid review, thanks Tom. I just ordered my 350H AWD last week however there is quite a lengthy wait time (I was told 5-6 months by the dealer).
I understand Lexus provides 10 years on their batteries. Is it true those batteries will need to be replaced every 4-5 yrs? and this could cost a fortune? I’m planning on holding onto my NX for around 4 yrs. Give or take
I initially had my eyes on the NX350. However. it is a pity they only come in the F-Sports which is roughly $10k above the luxury trim.
I’m saying that, I’m really looking forward to see how the hybrids performs in the country roads (where I’m based)
Thanks again for the great review Tom!
Congratulations! Bought one today as well. And now begins the waiting game (4-6 months). No issues with the batteries as such with 350H. Very reliable and powerful batteries.
Did your car arrive? If so, do you like it?

Great work Tom! Why still no 40/20/40 split rear seats, and that cheap arse rear centre armrest? My 2006 RX350 has 40/20/40 split and an awesome rear armrest with a storage compartment. Kids love it!
What is the sweet spot the 350h 2wd?
Ordered my NX350H AWD 3 weeks back, June 22 delivery. Am sure the wait will b MORE than worth it. Been hanging out for this since August last year. My current 2017 NX300H 2WD has been a great car.

I've driven the RAV4 hybrid and NX350H hybrid. NX is far quieter than the RAV4.
Great review as usual

Hi, How do you fix the rattling sound on the seatbelt, driver side?
Just wondering the backseats are they as spacious as the GLC or X3? I tried the 2018 version compared to the merc and bmw, they were a lot less roomier
Had a chat with Lexus this morning. Wait time is 3 YEARS.
Had a look at one the other day, after sitting in it, I changed my mind on getting a Volvo V60 to the 350h Sports Luxury, absolutely fantastic car, will be looking at putting an order in as soon as possible, regards, Andy from Adelaide.
Wouldn’t a flat tyre be covered in free road side assist you get with Lexus for first 3 years?
Every single TH-camr are reviewing the 14inch display. Would be nice to show the 9.8inch one.
Genesis GV70 VS UX which one has the nicest Interior and feels the most special.
I like Lexus exterior and interior except the how they set up the dash- the screen is like an afterthought, “let’s stick a big screen here”. They should make the whole front dash to look they are made on purpose, this one looks like an old dash with pasted on stuff.
Hi Tom, thank you for another great review. It feels like there's a bit more of road noise inside compared to the ES300h, is that the case?

Thorough and articulate review as usual. Can I ask you, Tom, having driven both the 350H and 450H+, do you feel the 350H is better value for money (all things considered). Many thanks
Absolutely. For the price of $67k F sport top of the line NX might as well hop over to the 350/450 of your choice. Unless you don't mind having a smaller SUV. But resale value the 350/450 would come back at you better. Pro tip. Keep ALL repair paperwork and repair receipt for the vehicle. A paper trail. Resale value is better by $2k at least. Worth it.
what about LED adaptive lights at night?
Thanks for the great review, as always.
I'd be really interested to hear whether the 450h+ will be getting the pano sunroof and Mark Levinson in the future, or whether these features are going to be permanently unavailable.
The answer is no
Its a shame, ive got a 2018 Lexus nx f-sport with all the enhancement packs incl. mark levinson. i was going to head towards the PHEV but finding that out might be a real killer for me. you dont want to spend $100k on a car without premium sounds in my opinion. i would be interested to see if the 350h is more frugal then my 2018, it used to sit on about 6.8L as i did alot of highway driving....
Great review Tom.
Was wondering if it would be possible for someone to do a review on the 2022 Honda Accord 2.0l Hybrid, as an alternative to a Suv Hybrid?

I think 350h is the pick of the range . PHEV 450 + not going to be as fun to drive due to it’s extra weight . I personally think you should go hybrid or full electric .. Phev is bit of a gimmick
The wait time for an NX is now 20-24 months according to my local Dealer
sold my 350nx hybrid after 18 months driving 27k.
@david kelly
The 20's are run flats, keep driving an buy a new tyre. The only problem will be finding a tyre that fits availability.
I'd skip the NX250 altogether. Why spend Lexus type of money to get an underpowered engine. The NX350h is probably the one to buy.
If you had a choice out of this or the XC60 which would you go for?
I think it is a hard choice, both fantastic cars, XC60 is getting a bit outdated now, it needs a major facelift.
I be got the same car in the same colour for nx350…great car
Fuel consumption??
Included in the running section of this video.
It seems some manufacturers are sh****ng on the Australian market with some of these missing features at stupid prices, yet they are available in overseas markets
Have been chasing this
I'm waiting for their review of the Toyota Chaser
I've been seriously looking at this car and here they start at 39k and to out low 50s.
Waiting like this makes me moisture than an oyster
No wireless apple carplay?? Who are they kidding lol
3000 was a third of overall Lexus sales for 2021? I'm surprised as 10k isn't really much. I thought Lexus would have sold more than that. Apparently not.
I am considering the new NX and ventilated seats are non-negotiable 😆
Finally Lexus has done all the right things in the interior.
But in NZ we get only NX 350h upwards starting from 92,700+
Just starting to research what else is out there for that money.
An unreliable Beeeeeeeeemer is even more money and re-Sale plummets
I care about height and entry/exit. SUVs are increasingly lowering the roof level for the sake of fuel efficiency, so it starts to feel more like a station wagon than an SUV, which defeats the purpose. I like the NX but it looks like you have to squeeze yourself through the doorway to get in and out of it.
Not at all, it's mid suv
I appreciate Tom
Great car.❤
Boot space segment needed an actual view of the boot space, IMO :) Good review otherwise!
Hmmmmmmmm? X3 Beeeeeeemer........" X3 which has both comfort and handling " X3 may have a slight edge in being a bit quicker,,,,however it has to be quick to get you to the shop for repairs and home again repeatedly...These are SUV's not Ferrari's..........450h+ is Plenty quick with Elec and engine believe me
Why is it so much more expensive than here in America?
Aus $$$ are smaller than US dollars. Cars are all more expensive in Aus and Europe compared to the US
I don't think 20" wheels are necessary for this type of car.
Looks good and a far better ownership proposition than the Europeans. It’s getting pricey but it should last.
Is the NX considered a "soccer mom" car?
For me Lexus has been about comfortable quiet, high build quality and luxury materials cars.
Unfortunately a bunch of journalists told the owner of Lexus his cars were boring to look and drive and so this what we now have: A base "luxury" model that rides the best but lacks premium materials and luxury features, an F-sport that has the most advanced suspension but rides on massive wheels and run-flats that undo the ride quality, and a Sports Luxury that gives you the luxury but rides the worst of all 3 models. Oh and the hideous spindle grill, I won't go there.
Doesn't the Sports Luxury has advanced suspension? Their naming and packaging is very confusing to be honest.
