    I wanna thank you a lot Linda. I applied to my dream job and to be honest, this is the only job that I applied which were crazy since if I got rejected then I don’t have any backup plan. But applying everything I learned from your videos, finally, I got an offer. It doesn’t matter if it was your first time applying, what matters is that you got the skills, smile and a story. Thank you again Linda.

    Hi Linda! I just wanted to say through watching and learning through your videos I landed a job offer that I am so incredibly happy with! My current job (which I got 2 years ago) was also through watching you so I really wanted to say thank you for your time to support all of us time and time again!

    I watch your video and without even taking your classes I was able to land my dream job with an excellent benefit package thank you for helping me to sell myself you are the truth. With just the little bit of information I took from your video I was able to find the confidence I needed to land that job. That was the best interview I had ever had in my life and the pay rate was one of the best I have ever been offered. You are amazing! I can't believe after 4 years of taking care of my children full time mom and trying to get back into the job market I was able to apply the information to an interview and sell myself a land the job of my dreams. This career I don' t have the education but I have the experience and I always felt like I was out of my league with other customer rep professionals and I landed the job of my dreams.

    Employers give you the answers on their job postings. Be a salesman, they have a need on their job description, address their needs with your experience(stories). Never criticize your former employers, exude positive energy. You will get that job offer because most people don't know how to interview.

    Hi Linda,
    I appreciate your bringing in real people to give feedback on their experience of your program.
    I watched many of your videos in preparation for an interview I had been shortlisted for. I utilized your story telling approach to prepare for the interview. I would like to express my thanks to you for such videos as they addressed anxiety and gave me the confidence I required to move on through the various stages of the interview.
    And yes, I was offered the job.

    As a medical receptionist I knew I could do the job. I would observe other receptionist and think to myself what am I not doing what other receptionist are doing and I realized that they were doing the basics. Not going above and beyond like I thought they should. I would observe receptionist that barely even smile at you. When you ask them a question they just say I dont know and I think how are they working here???? I realized it wasn't my skills it was me being able to sell it to the interviewer. I'm very observant so I almost know instantly when I say something and the interviewer doesn't like the answer and I think sometimes when I make that observation I just give up.

    Hi Linda!
    I got fired today after my first week... the job was different than what was advertised and it required a steep learning curve which the company was unwilling to let me learn from... there were a few red flags (such high turnover/many temps, low morale, and lack of organization)... I was planning on leaving anyway just not this soon... any tips or videos for people in my shoes? This is technically my 2nd career job after university... the training at my first job was totally different so I guess I was used to that....

    Hi Linda,
    How can I beat an internal employee?
    Recently I was given a verbal offer over the phone but the next day, the hiring manager said HR is requesting them to interview an internal candidate before proceeding... apparently I’m still her #1 candidate and the hiring manager doesn’t think another interview will change her mind... not sure what my chances are? (sounds like I’m more qualified on paper) Is there a way to beat an internal candidate at this point or should I not even worry?
    This would for a position at a dream job doing a dream entry level job.

    • @lisamarieGWI
      @lisamarieGWI 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as you clearly show the value you have to offer, how you can make a positive impact on the company, and how your previous accomplishments work toward your advantage with this new position, you shouldn't have a problem outperforming the internal candidate. Show them you are more qualified and that's your golden ticket.
