Btw painting those details on Carnage tendrils is quite easy. All you need is some decent acrylic paint, small precision brush, mod podge as sealer and you are set up to do it =)

Ideally, this year we will get more all new sculpts for more comic figures, I've noticed this past year there have been more new sculpt for comics so hopefully it will be a consistent thing.
I guess because he was a 2019 BAF and went on most peoples list that year for those that got it. Like for me, he went on my 2019 list video I made. I have this rule of not putting repaints of the same figure from the previous year onto my current list. That’s just me.

You are so right if it bothers you that you're not familiar with the character read the comics. I was also very glad to finally get a Maverick in this line. I wasn't sure how I felt about the Kang the conqueror figure but you definitely sold me on him.

The armored daredevil was my number 2 because I had more fun with that figure more than the retro spider man and he didn’t had the problems I had encountered with the retro spidey.
Top ten comic figs would have most of the same. I definitely with you on Retro Spidey. I call it a down payment on greatness to come. I think Hasbro has a deluxe Spidey in my for future but price point will be higher. Spider-Man is their easiest to sell. They don’t care about import sales. They have made so many variants which sell as well as the classic. So I see a deluxe Spidey coming for $40-50 range. They have to find that pack in that puts it there to sell at that cost. Solid chooses.
Say what you will about Marvel Legends, but there is no other line in existence that offers such a rich and diverse array of characters. From heavy hitters like Spider-Man and Wolverine to lesser known characters like Strong Guy and Warpath to incredibly obscure characters like Rock Python and Spymaster. That is why I love collecting Legends over any other line.
Same for me - love the ML due to the huge characters base. Not to mention those figs are quite sturdy and easy to customise/upgrade/rework. As a Spider-Verse collector i love ML as well.
I only bought one figure this year cause Ive pretty much retired this line cause Im happy with my collection. The one figure I got was the comic Loki, ive been wanting a figure of him in that classic design for GOD KNOWS HOW LONG. Hes not the best but im still happy to finally have one

I also hate people complaining they didn’t get the reveal they wanted or they don’t know who someone is. Either look it up, or don’t buy it. Plenty of things I skip, helps on the wallet.
For the record, Maverick did very well on many peoples top ten list, but I agree with you about people complaining about characters they don't know. Spymaster has gotten a lot of hate this year, and honestly he was one of my most looked forward to figures, he was always going to be an easy repaint, but has a look that screamed to me "cool" from the OHOTMU and was a good character in the comics. (I'm looking forward to a Flag Smasher figure, which is also a simple repaint, but again a relatively obscure figure and there are dozens of more... I would rather get a new character that is a D-list, than another freaking deadpool or Cap without wingheads--- Cap is my favorite character of all time, but him without wingheads is just lame)
