Do you guys watch the entire video or just read titles? It's a questions and answer segment it wasn't all about England.
No one really expected him to be a regular starter at the EUROs, but you’re telling me that there’s no room for Cole Palmer in the hit team as he had the most goals and assists out of any player in the peeler league last season and he hasn’t played a single minute for England at this tournament. Some of their problems just hasn’t changed and one of the issues that he’s dealing with at the EUROs is playing your best players rather than playing your best team and there’s a difference in that no matter how many individuals you have in a team. What more does he have to do to get on the pitch and this is a sign that Gareth Southgate doesn’t really know what he’s doing and is unable to bring out the best in such a talented squad.
He didn’t play in their opening game against Serbia, he should’ve gotten minutes against Denmark because the game was tied 1-1, England took their foot off the gas after leading early in the game and were outplayed and they needed a game changer and someone who would provide a spark and an impact off the bench and you took off Harry Kane Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka at the same time, yet you still couldn’t bring Palmer on the pitch. Even if they won’t win that game, having a goal threat and someone who offers a lot of creativity in the team is a solution to the problems you’ve had in your opening games of the tournament. This time around against Slovenia, England have to make some drastic changes to their lineup meaning that Palmer should be able to get some minutes even if he won’t start ahead of Saka, you have to play him, I don’t care how they do it.
mate, if cole palmer plays, he is gonna have the same problem as saka. no time and no space to do anything.

Pep Guardiola just makes too much sense, he has an expiring contract who has expressed a desire to try international management, Spain will probably not hire him due to his stance on Catalonia and what's a better alternative than a squad where you already know a lot of the players and if successful will get honors from the king and a statue outside Wembley Stadium. Not to mention his tactics are the polar opposite of Gareth Southgate.

Don't be shocked if Pep ends up the next England manager. People will think that's insane, but his contract with city is up next year. He doesn't want to extend it apparently. He also apparently is interested in the England job. If not England then another international team job as apparently he's got serious back problems which causes him a lot of pain, and he'd like a lesser workload.
As an England fan and if they're going to stay with an English manager, it's only Eddie Howe that interests me. If not English then I'd love Pep or Klopp or someone of that calibre who knows English football really well and the players, etc.

Can’t have a zidane/ancelotti type unfortunately. English players (mostly) need direction, not freedom. So you need a Klopp / pep type. No problem foreign but needs to be someone who has good experience in the EPL.
Yes great point Zidane and ancelotti give some players alot of freedom and that work well in there tactics. But english players are not like that at all, they need fulltime command at every part of the game. That can be why they often not play well international.
