My Grandfather, Dad, and Uncle had one of these with front cultivators, front mounted planters, plows, and drag harrow. My dad's main complaint was that the unit they had did not have a high gear and top speed was about 3.5 mph. Most plowing and cultivation work was done in 2nd gear and it took a while to get over a field. I remember seeing the 2-14 plow which bolted to the frame and was lifted by the hydraulic lift. He said it was a two-day job to mount or dismount the front planters. I remember the tractor in a shed with the front cultivators were mounted but they never used it at all and that would have been the early to late 1950's. About twice a year to keep it running they would pull it out of the shed and hook a running Farmall C and drag it around with a chain until it ran. Then back into the shed with the cultivators still mounted where it stayed until they decided to junk it about 1960. The front gangs were not hydraulic. My dad indicated just doing the hand lifting days on end cultivating was very hard work. Until the day he died he would yell at me if I lifted a plow with the tractor sitting still with the plow or gangs engaged in the soil . . . saying it was just too hard on the tractor hydraulic lift. The tractor had to be moving either forward or backward when the lift came up.

We have one in our collection. I have owned it 50 years. Beed thirty years since it has been started.
1500 dollars to end up with such a nice little tractor sound like a heck of a good investment to me! :)
